A little check-in

Sprucebark had recently been assigned to be a guard for his sister Sandyshell. The warrior took to his task like he would any task, with the utmost seriousness and responsible.

He did not know exactly why the extra precautions were in place now nor did he question them... although being in any new land was a reasonable guess as to why perchstar now had reason for extra care to be given especially with the sickness raveging all clans. Nothing bad would happen to sandyshell on his watch!

For the past couple days, he had been with her wherever she was needed, usually going from sick clanmate to clanmate.

In these recent times he was seeing littlepaw more too, the new mca of riverclan. Luckily, the sickness had only mildly hit him and he hardly felt it at all except the occasional sniffle here and there.


"Hey littlepaw!" he greeted one morning dipping his head all formal like his usual self. "Do you suppose that I could learn a bit about the herbs you are using today?" he figured he ought to try and be of some use other than just standing there making sure a hawk didnt attack his sister and the apprentice.
