Bedside manner? (closed)

Sablestrike picked his way through the bodies of sick that littered Shadowclan's new land. A startling realization had hit the tom the moment he had remembered Swiftheart hadn't been as lucky as he. It only seemed fitting that the tom keep the molly company. Even if she wasn't exhibiting symptoms like Tawnyshadow she still needed someone to try and brighten her day a bit, right? Though he wasn't quite sure if he would be up to the task. Setting a squirrel in front of the molly's nest Sablestrike gave the prey a scowl. He didn't know how other clans, and sometimes even his own clanmates ate this furry beast. It's tail made up most of its body, and beyond that it looked just so... unappetizing. "Not the best pick, but it's what we've got. How are you feeling?"

Swiftheart blinked her eyes open, they had all that nasty eye gunk you get when you are sick stuck to them.  "owieee... everything hurtssss" she complained which was rare for her.


She slowly sat up and looked at him squinting at the light, the sickness seemed to make every sense more amplified.  when he spoke it sounded like her ears were ringing and he was yelling or something.


She sniffled and looked at what he was gesturing at.  Oh? a squirrel... for her?

It looked half appatazing though he made it sound as if it were not which already made it look less so.

She gave half an annoyed glance at him.  If she were any less nice she would paw at him to go away and for interrupting her nappy time.  But... this is swiftheart we are talking about after all.  Even when sick her patience was quite extensive (shes better than I am when sick thats for sure.  I woulda smacked him for waking me up)

She gave a little sigh and stretched some waking up fully.

"Thanks for the meal" she meowed trying to be grateful as she could be given the icky circumstances.

"where did you erm... manage to catch such a thing? she asked half curious if the squirrels here by the lake had some strange feature that let their tail get that big.

she poked at it a little playing with her food some "I mean... look at this things tail" she jiggled it a little at sablestrike and couldnt help but to start laughing ... which almost immediatly after made her cough some.

But she gave her friend a goofy smile "im a flying squirrel sablestrike!" she meowed in a high pitched voice pretending to be the prey as she tossed it at him bonking it off him.

She blinked realizing maybe even for her this was pretty kit-like.  She never did lose that sense of kit-like energy and playfulnes anyways.

she sat up and took her food back slowly munching on it.


"hmm well mr. Deputy hows the rest of things going?" she asked quieter
