Ajex had stayed even closer to the Clans since meeting Egretswoop, though he remained far away enough to not pose a threat to any of the kits or elders that were sheltered by them. On occasion, he would have the fortune to run into a Clan cat, and between them they would either trade words or blows. Both brought forth a different thrill, the former a little more comforting than the latter. Ginger tail curled around his paws as he settled a top a boulder. A badger's den had been close by where the Clans settled, and he had decided to choose that for his meal that day. Not out of concern for the Clans, of course. He just missed fighting badgers.
