London trudged through territory. He knew it wasn’t his, but the Clan cats weren't here, so he didn't mind. He did smell mouse scent, so he might as well go after it.

He felt his shoulders tense. Where could the Clan cats have gone? He'd only been in the forest for a few days, but it was weird for cats to just disappear. He'd heard they had gods, but he wasn't sure if that was just due to the horrible state of the forest.

The mouse twisted its furry body into each nook and cranny of the branches and little tunnels it must have dug. London suddenly pounced, his furry legs outstretched right in front of his face. He thudded onto the ground and mumbled angrily. He needed to work on his landing, or else cats would still call him a fat kittypet. Maybe he was one, but he felt less heavy. He was definitely losing weight, right? At least he didn't visit the cutter; his Twolegs just fed him the slop kittypets ate. He tumbled into the ferns, searching for the mouse. Did he catch it like he caught the chaffinch in SkyClan? Suddenly, the mouse bounded away from the furry cat. London groaned, but then heard a hissing noise. Of course, it was an adder. He was barely a rogue, more of a kittypet. He felt the fear surge in his veins, but of course, he attacked and didn't let the adder attack him. He then slid down, slicing all the weak spots of the adder before striking it with his unsheathed claws.

This place is pretty dead... By which I mean, there's nothing to kill.

Ajex had heard the rustling of ferns from fox-lengths away, and the distinct scent of twolegs confirmed that there was a kittypet hunting on these lands. Or at least trying to, The tabby watched with amusement as the mouse darted past him, then looked up again at the sound of hissing. An adder? Much to his surprise, the kittypet seemed to be doing fine on his own. Had he been away from his Twolegs for some time? Blue eyes narrowed on the adder as it looked ready to fight. Better finish it off for him. Swiftly, Ajex darted forward and clamped his jaws around the creature's neck, snapping it in one bite and leaving the snake dangling limply from his jaws like a vine. He dropped it at the kittypet's paws and offered him a smile. "Hey there, hope you don't mind me helping out?"
