Don't Tell Fawnshine [closed]

Quailpaw had been instructed to check in on Brightpaw. She didn't know the kid, well, other apprentice well... But oh well. Stalking in, she found the apprentice lying in a nest. Slowly but surely... Quailpaw dropped to a crouch and stalked closer. Brightpaw was snoozing, giving Quailpaw an advantage. Only a tail-length away now, Quailpaw struck. Lashing out her paw, she bapped the unsuspecting Brightpaw's rear. "Wakey wakey! Time to get your blood flowing." She said with an almost child-like giggle. Quailpaw had been sick her first half as an apprentice, so she knew how boring the medicine cat den could be.

Brightpaw shook his foreleg off and grunted in pain, waking up from his doze. He twitched his ear in the place where Quailpaw had pounded on it, then meowed, "You're on!"

Playfully, he cantered towards the cat and pawed him back in the neck. He was so happy a cat had visited him, well, except for Bluepaw a few days ago. He reared his paw back and closed his left eye, his other foreleg aching from the effort he put into the spar.

Suddenly, he fell back to where Fawnshine stored all her herbs and medicine. All the herbs toppled over and scattered around the den, pieces of yarrow, poppy seeds, and juniper berries flying everywhere. This didn't affect Brightpaw. He turned around, facing Quailpaw with a smile, holding determination, yet it still held its playful glint.

Oh, imagine how livid Fawnshine would be after this!

He suddenly slipped on a pile of moss with his right foreleg, the one that felt sore and couldn't be used for a few days. It started aching even more, and he pulled back, causing more moss beds to fly and land everywhere. The medicine den became a sight for sore eyes.

Brightpaw returned a front paw blow for 5 SP and 4 non-lethal HP.
