"MOSSPAW!!" Scorchpaw screamed at the top of her lungs, signaling for the tabby to follow her. She resented Mosspaw, and Mosspaw loathed her after what happened. They'd never care for each other; maybe they could bond and make up for it. Toad! She followed the scent in a low crouch, leaping over a narrow stream, following it and tracking it until only a few mouse-lengths away. Boom! She tumbled it over with practiced ease, staring deep into its eyes. Still pinning it, she flicked her tail and eyes towards the camp, her eyes filled with sorrow – sorrow because of what she had done to her and Mosspaw's friendship. She sighed and locked her gaze back towards the frog, unsheathing her claws. She pounded, not slipping this time, but killing. She smirked; she'd caught a real frog! Happiness leapt in her heart – finally, real prey instead of weasels and geese.
