| Today promised to be a fairly nice day, as far as Redsun was concerned. Clear skies with a bright, warm sun, with a few intermittent breezes that snuck through the undergrowth. He couldn’t say why, but despite the weather he felt a little off. His ears burned and itched like nothing else as though suddenly his name was being spoken aloud far more than usual! Yet he couldn’t find the source, nor if the feeling was even founded in reality.
Really, he needed to shake this off. There was no time for paranoia! Mottlestar would have his hide if she knew, but he’d already told himself that he’d bring back something substantial to eat for everyone after investigating a bit. And he wouldn’t come back to camp until he’d done it. Alright, that part wasn’t true. He would return before the dusk patrol came in. His mother really didn’t need more reasons to worry, she had enough to deal with already.
“See ya later, dude!” Giving the warrior stationed at the camp entrance his best confident greeting as he passed, Redsun slipped into the territory, alone. At least, that’s what he thought. ______________________________________ |

A cunning pair of eyes peeked from behind a wildberry bush; green and blue gleaming under the bright illuminance of the sun. If it was according to her rightful conscience, 'stalking' would be a task she'd least condemn herself to willingly—but this was a special exception. For the sake of the clan, she reminded herself. At least, that was the excuse she made up in order to follow Redsun outside.
Ever since the prophetic dream and StarClan showed her the repetitive vision of following a 'red sun', she could not help but feel concerned about the fact that one of the very clanmates in her clan had the exact same name. It was too much to simply be a coincidence...right? Part of her, the more rational side—assumes perhaps she's overthinking too much. But the other who's skeptical of StarClan's message to her, decides otherwise. Still dubious of his intentions, Fawnshine followed the shadows where she hid under large canopies; silently lurking to track him around. ft. Taylor Swift in
