"Hi, Lightningbreeze," Graywind tried to be cheerful as she greeted her clanmate and they headed through the entrance of camp, but she found that putting on a cheerful face was difficult at best these days. The day was dreary, an overcast sky and cold breeze snaking through the trees. That everyone seemed to be going hungry more often than not these days didn't need mentioning, either. Still, Graywind looked forward to the chance to get out of camp. It was better than sitting around moping about things.
"I feel like I was grumbling about greenleaf yesterday... If I'd known this was our future I wouldn't have said anything bad, ever." She was only half-joking as she led the way through the trees, glancing toward Lightningbreeze as she spoke.
