Three is a crowd [whin and little and storm]

Stormwatcher lay out in the sunny part of camp as per his usual.  He was very tired after all those foxes that were attacking and it was nice to have a moment to breathe.  He was half asleep (of course he was) his favorite thing was naps... well naps and plenty of snacks from the fresh kill pile.

And after such a battle it seemed okay to take some time and just rest anyways.

In his half awake, half asleep state of mind his half open eyes spotted nearby littleflower and whinchatpaw.

He sat up a small amount squinting... he hardly recognized them from how much they grew.  Last time he had seen them they were kits poking him awake and giggling as they ran out of camp on a little adventure he had taken them on... Now they were warrior and apprentice?  Wow time how it flies by.


He sleepily dragged himself over to them and gave a small smile and a bit of an akward wave with his big fluffy oversized tail.  The big guy was sometimes a bit unsure what to do around others.  He really liked being their friend although he might not admit that aloud.  Socalizing was never his strong suit but he did enjoy their energetic company alot... even if it did come at the price of missing his naps. He was joking, clearly and just trying to start conversation



But... something seemed different this time, littleflower did not seem to be as energetic or bouncy as she had as kitten.  He knew the battle was hard on everyone so that maybe made sense.

He settled down joining them but kept a distance to not spook littleflower.  But perhaps after such a fight it would help little to have some old friends she knew around.


"you two staying out of trouble?" he asked giving a nod to them and a little bit of a grin.  "Not sneaking out of camp again right?" he chuckled thinking about how they had all snuck out of camp when they were both kits

Stormwatcher looked at littleflower with a tilt of his head curiously. He didn't always understand emotions well or know how to deal with them himself but even to him it was clear she was shocked and spooked by the fight that had just finished.

The big warrior sat there a bit puzzled on what to do about that. He didnt like fighting either, it made him tired and sleepy from all the energy it took but he was more than willing to fight very hard to defend the ones he cared about.

He didnt know exactly how to comfort littleflower but wanted to do his best anyways. He glanced at Whinchatpaw with a little shrug and smile hoping that the two of them could cheer up their friend.

He laid his tail slow out slowly and flicked it back and forth like how when they were kits and he would play with them that way. They had both grown up now but in his eyes it felt like just yesterday that his friends were little kits crawling all over him and such. Maybe a trip down memory lane to those simpler times would help cheer them up?

"You okay little?" he asked quietly. He didnt see any wounds on her so that was a relief... all the same he should probably suggest : "Did you get seen by the med cat?"
