Fawnshine As honored as she was to hold onto the title of being a medicine cat, Fawnshine could not deny that she found the duties overwhelming in times more stressful than most. Still, Echopaw's help never went unappreciated, and she was grateful for his assistance as her apprentice during those more demanding days. Fortunately, today didn't seem to weigh too largely on her mind, it going mostly uneventful.
Taking hold of the herb bundle she had prepared the night prior, the medicine cat slipped out from her den and made her way toward the apprentices' instead, keeping her steps light in case one may still be awake. "Peonypaw? Are you awake?" She called out softly, setting the herbs down at the mouth of the den entryway. Her eyes scanned for the familiar-looking pelt of the young she-cat, taking a step back to greet her outside. "It's time for your Moonstone journey."
peonypaw woke with a yawn and padded out of the apprentice den. She was nervous for the trip but knew it was essential to being a clan cat. "r-ready.." she mewed softly.

Fawnshine "Eat this, Peonypaw. It would help with the journey we're heading on and lessen your exhaustion." Fawnshine gestured with her nose toward the bundle of herbs, waiting for the young apprentice to unravel it and eat the contents. Once she was finished, the medicine cat nodded and led them outside of camp.

For the majority of the time during their walk, it remained silent. She had not much to say to Peonypaw until they reached the Mothermouth, pausing to remind the she-cat of the needed instructions in case she were to accidentally injure herself in the dark tunnel. "Inside the tunnel will be dark. Follow my scent, or the tip of my tail closely. It will take a moment before we can reach the Moonstone." She waited for a confirmation from Peonypaw that she had understood, before leading into the tunnel and walking slowly. Eventually, a bright glow began to fill the cave, and Fawnshine gestured for her to approach it. "Touch your nose to the stone, and StarClan will do the rest. I'll be here when you awake." She reassured her.
Peonypaw did as she was told and touched her nose to the stone before closing her eyes. When she awoke, peonypaw was in a vast starry ladnscape wih nothing to see except the starclan cat infront of her. "H..hello." she mewed shyly.

Dovefrost had a soft smile on his face, happy to meet the newest generation of Thunderclan cats. The large white tom dipped his head in greeting, trying to relax Peonypaw and have her open up. "Hello Peonypaw. I am Dovefros,t a former Thunderclan medicine cat. Do you have an questions for me? He wanted her to open up, to feel comfortable to ask what she wanted, and hopefully this would help.

Peonypaw thought some questions over. She was a little hesitant but he did say he was a medicine cat, so couldnt be that bad. "How..c-can i..b-be brave for the clan." she mewed once she narrowed it down to one question. Her shyness was holding her back, she knew this, but didnt know how to fully change it out of her.

Dovefrost let out a low hum. It was rather tricky of a situation the apprentice had found herself in. "I always found I could do what I needed to do by thinking of the others when it came to tricky situations. Of who you could help, or defend. I know it's not easy, but thinking of someone close to you, will help you push through. Do you have anyone like that Peonypaw?" The large white tom asked, wanting to get a grasp of what was important to the little apprentice.
Peonypaw thought about it with a nod. "I have mama firefly, Grandma mottlestar, Uncle thrushnose, Amberpaw, shrewpaw, ridgecrest, and a lot of others in the clan." she mewed just realizing how many cats in her clan meant so much to her. "Ill try my best to be brave for them." she mewed to the starclan cat.

Dovefrost nodded then gave the apprentice a small smile. It was good to hear there were so many important cats to this young one. "That sounds like a wonderful list. Next time you are afraid or don't feel up to the challenge, think about those cats you named. You have this Peonypaw. Show Thunderclan what you are made of." With that the large white tom faded from view along with the rest of the territory, sending Peonypaw to the waking world.
