Thalia was cleaning some of the pelts that ShadowClan's warriors wore, which consisted of the not particularly difficult but altogether tedious task of gathering water with moss and using that water to remove the mud and general dirt and debris that came from living in the marsh. She was glad that she'd thought to learn how to make and maintain them, back when she'd been able to, because if she hadn't known how to care for them-

Well, she doubted they would have kept them around very long. A fox was intimidating. A fox that looked like it had taken several naps in mud puddles without ever attempting to clean itself off was a little less intimidating.

Her own was in good shape so far, but even with some of the other warriors taking an interest in learning more (and cleaning their own) it seemed that she could always find something to do.

Not that she minded: her hunting had improved somewhat, especially after the time she'd spent on the farm so far away, but she still wasn't on par with the better hunters and she rarely fought outside of practice. If the best way she could serve ShadowClan was sharing her knowledge, supervising rites, and handling the pelts that came as a result...

That was fine by her.
