Batsong brought some daisy leaves and ragwort leaves with her as she headed to the elders den. Going in her eyes had to adjust to just how dark it was in here. Once they had somewhat she saw Brackenwing and Whisperear nearby ish.
She purred a greeting to them both as she prepared the herbs for them. Both herbs should help with the stiff joints that could arise commonly in elders and she also hoped that perhaps it would help with Brackenwings bad leg. Her poor sister had just about the worst luck that any cat could have Batsong was pretty sure. Hmm maybe the only other cat to be so unlucky was that Beechface cat she had met awhile back with the lighting and all...
Either way, her sister had beyond her fair share of injuries between being concussion by the hail that one time, then hit by a monster another time it felt like she never got a break.
"Here this should help with your joints some" she offered the mix of herbs.
With the poor lighting it was hard to tell if Whisperear was asleep or not. "Whisperear? How are you doing?" she asked quietly figuring that in case they were asleep she wouldnt want to wake them.

It wasn't a surprise to see Batsong step into the den with herbs, though Brackenwing could not be bothered to greet her sister warmly. After that clan meeting after the recent gathering, the camp had been tense and on-edge. The elder's den was no different, with the sense of worry for their clanmates and an ever-increasing frustration for Windclan's high ranks.
Brackenwing wasn't really sure if the herbs would help with her joints in truth... Really it was mostly the one leg she had issues with. But the medicine cat was insistent on trying... And with war seemingly in their futures, Brackenwing wasn't sure that giving out herbs that might be desperately needed soon enough should the tension indeed spill over into all-out war was a wise idea. "Aren't you going to need those if fighting breaks out?" Brackenwing asked dryly, tail tip twitching as she eyed the medicine cat.

Whisperear
Whisperear lifted their head and looked at the guest that entered the elder’s den. They were tired as always, but awake to listen to Brackenwing. They often told stories or chatted with one another to occupy their constant time in camp. They gave Batsong a tiny smile when she delivered the herbs to them.
Their tail gently brushed along Brackenwing’s back. “A couple of herbs are easily replaced,” they reassured Brackenwing gently. They were nervous about fighting too, but wanted any pain that Brackenwing was feeling to be eased. “Thank you, Batsong.”
They were not exactly happy with the medicine cat either, but was trying desperately to give Batsong the benefit of the doubt. Most of their anger had been put onto Shrikestar, and Smallbean to an extent, for allowing the foolishness to happen. There was still some anger that lay with Batsong, though. This was the same cat who had fretted with Whisperear over whether or not to tell Shrikestar about a forbidden romance they discovered with their friend, and yet was willing to announce another forbidden romance to all five clans and put all of WindClan in danger…It was foolish and Whisperear only hoped that no retaliation would come from it.
