What are the duties of a medicine cat?: The duty of a medicine cat is to provide for their clans physical, spiritual and emotional needs. This is achieved primarily through gathering herbs and providing care when members of the clan are injured or sick, but also through being a source of emotional support as well as communing with Starclan to help guide their clan. A medicine cat must be able to balance the needs of their clan. They should be selfless and dedicated. They should have a thorough understanding of the herbs at their disposal and always be available to help their clan as much as physically possible. Additionally, they play a role in helping the youth of the clan prepare for warriorhood, by guiding them to the Moonstone before they become a warrior.
What would you do with this position?: Wrenpaw is fun, confident, and playful, which would be a fun contrast to Sandyshell's shyer personality, and in this role she would try to act as all of Riverclan's big sister, which I believe could be fun to roleplay with! Additionally, Wrenpaw is Perchstar's daughter, and feels she has big shoes to fill in being the daughter of the leader. She would be taking the position very seriously, and dedicate herself to it 100%. She's protective and loves her clan dearly.
Why you think you deserve this position?: This would be my first time playing a High Rank on WCC. I've been on here for a little over a year, and I try to stay active both on site and within the community on discord. I adore Riverclan and would love to be a part of it's leadership. I believe I have a good rapport with the current other HRs in the clan. Now that my move has finished, I have a lot more free time on my hands and am able and ready to dedicate myself to the community. I would take this role very seriously and be an active, engaged high rank. Thank you for your consideration!
