| Tension hung in the air, able to be cut through by sharp claws. Shrikestar climbed to the top of the Tallrock, looking down over his clan. StarClan would light their path, surely. They had to. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!" |

Fennelpaw's ears perked upon hearing the call for a meeting, green eyes blinking up at Shrikestar in slight nervousness. She wasn't sure why, but the air seemed more tense today. She could only hope there wasn't anything wrong, and instead simply a ceremony of some sort, to either celebrate a new apprentice or warrior. Once she did, Shrikestar continued. "Are you willing to fight for and defend WindClan, even at the cost of your own life?" |

Fennelpaw widened her eyes. It was her own ceremony? Rising to her paws, albeit a bit unexpectedly, she stepped forward as her name was called out. Her eyes continued to be set on Shrikestar the entire time, her tail raised in curiosity. Things were getting messy, but at least some things could proceed like normal. "Then with StarClan's blessing, I give you your warrior name. From now on, you will be known as Fennelbreeze. May StarClan continue to smile upon you, and WindClan will protect you as you protect it." |

Fennelbreeze. The name was new yet wonderful to the young warrior. She couldn't stop the grin that spread easily across her maw, offering a polite nod in appreciation to Shrikestar as her new name was announced to the clan. A few moons prior back, she would've never thought she could get to such a position so soon—but here she was, and she was glad she did.
