"Rookfire!" Thalia's tone was light and cheerful, the way it often was. "Would you mind coming out with me? I wanted to gather some more flowers today, and I could use the company."

Truthfully, she didn't mind gathering flowers alone- she did it often, along with herbs for the medicine den in lieu of regular hunting and border patrols (though she still went on them, just a little less often than most of her Clanmates)- but she wouldn't turn down a chance to spend time with a friend.

"Only if you're not too busy, though."

She knew that he had been placed on Nightstar's council, but wasn't entirely sure what responsibilities that actually entailed. Her conversations with Leopardsun, regular as they were, had done little to shed any light on the subject.

Rookfire grinned at Thalia's familiar voice. "Yeah, I'd love to!" he said, grinning at his friend. He was more than happy to pick flowers with her, just like old times. He remembered when the two of them gathered flowers while the black tuxedo was still ShadowClan's medicine cat. And despite his place in the council, the black tuxedo wasn't doing much currently, so he'd love to hang out with Thalia.

Padding alongside her, the black tuxedo wanted to go with some small talk. "So, what kind of flowers are you looking for?" he asked. He knew which ones were good for herbs, but he didn't know the types of flowers that Thalia liked to use for decoration. Perhaps these would be for her flower crowns, or perhaps some other type of decorations she wanted to make.

"Anything that isn't needed for herbs, and isn't poison. Anything that looks nice and isn't dangerous."

Thalia enjoyed gathering herbs, but sometimes just finding flowers that weren't useful to anyone else was fun.

"I thought we could maybe use some to decorate the nursery, too. How have you been recently? It's been busy, hasn't it?"
