Nightdancer wanted to make an effort to interact with her Clanmates, but it wasn't as easy with most of them as it was with the few she did speak to. Briarrose, Mottlestar (her leader; someone she respected immensely), Darkspirit (her deputy; and easy enough to speak to once they'd started, but he had been the one to do so), Rosepaw (her apprentice)... Was there anyone else that made that list? Maybe Fawnshine, sometimes, but she was a medicine cat; of course Nightdancer spoke to her. She spoke briefly when she needed to when it came to the rest, but mostly kept to herself and mostly kept quiet.

Now she was on patrol with a cat she barely knew, other than knowing he was somewhat close to Rosepaw. Or at least she thought so- she'd seen them together, but she hadn't asked. It was only what she could guess. What she did know was his name: Curlyfluff.

She waved her tail as she circled back to him. "Find anything?"

At least she used her voice often enough now that it no longer sounded strangled and strained when she spoke.
