Padding through the territory, the round tom's heavy paws thumped against the ground beneath him. He usually walked in a slow, lumbering fashion, but today he was more tired than usual. With his apprentice Burrpaw keeping him more than busy, he'd barely been able to get a moment to himself. He'd of course much rather be back at camp resting in his nest, but he'd learned the only way to get time away from the young tom was if he wasn't around at all, and so here he was making his way to nowhere in particular.

To his surprise, he'd made it all the way to the Owl Tree. It was much further than he'd originally planned to wander, but he'd made it this far and wanted a bit of rest time before he made his way back. Walking over to the base of the tree, he plopped his pudgy rump down with a 'thump' and let out a sigh. He could sure go for a snack right about now.

Yet another lone stroll had led Firefly to Owl Tree, a place she rarely happened upon due to the unnerving amount of owls that nested there. Could she take one on by herself? Absolutely! Would she win? Unlikely. This would be nothing more than a stroll for her-

Russet paws stopped in their tracks as something round and furry at the base of the tree caught her eye. A badger...? No, not big enough. Raccoon? Why would a raccoon be here during the day? Crouching low and making sure to be downwind, she crept her way closer to the large gray blob. Her ears flattened against her head. Whatever this was, it would regret lazing about in ThunderClan territory.

Paws outstretched, she lunged at the intruder... Only to find out much too late that this large mass was a cat. One that was not of ThunderClan so technically she was still in the right to knock the stars out of him, right?

Firefly used Front Paw Strike paired with Thunderous Stomp, causing 10 total damaged and costing 17 SP. Fuzzface is stunned for 1 turn!

The last thing he'd been expecting was to be attacked out of the blue, but here he was; pinned under some stranger's paws. The thick warrior had done his best to try and duck and twist after her initial strike, but his overall lack of maneuverability proved to be a disadvantage in such a situation. So here he was, unable to get up from his position laying on his back like a stuck turtle. "What the heck!" the plump grey warrior hissed, trying his best to wriggle his way free from her grasp. Who did she think she was? "Attacking me out of no where, how rude!" Fuzzface added, his tone filled with annoyance.

Fuzzface attempted to use Duck and Twist; it was... unsuccessful. Fuzzface dealt -4 HP and spent -5 SP.

It was obvious that a talking raccoon had fully shocked the ThunderClan warrior to her core. That was, until she noticed the scent of WindClan, which made this a whole new problem: the Owl Tree was owned by ThunderClan. Which meant that- even if this cat wasn't some predator- he was still trespassing.

Her black-tipped ears flattened against her head as the big bellied tom struggled to right himself, "It's not my fault you're fat; I thought you were a raccoon!" She hissed retorted, "You're trespassing, anyway! The owl tree belongs to ThunderClan. Stand up and fight me, or get lost, tubby!"

For some reason, she felt bad beating this guy up. Which was odd since she would usually take any chance she had to draw enemy blood. Maybe it was his round belly, but it felt like she was attacking a queen.

Firefly used Front paw Strike on Fuzzface, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 SP.

"Are all ThunderClanners as blind as you?" Fuzzface hissed. He'd admit that he was more than pudgy, but how in Silverpelt's name could he have looked that much like a raccoon? He surely looked nothing like one. She hit him across the face with needle-like claws and the plump warrior stumbled back a few steps. He hated the effort that fighting took, why did every-cat want to duke it out all the time? He obviously didn't have a choice here, but he prayed that one of them would hurry up and win or whatever so that he could go back home. Even if he lost he didn't care, as long as it meant finishing this.

Don't get your tail in a bunch, I didn't even cross the border until you came along and made me," he snapped back. Trying his best to catch her off guard, he rushed forward and slashed his claws at her exposed underbelly. After confirming that he'd made contact, he quickly waddled backwards, trying his best to prepare himself for her parry.

"Are all Windclanners so inept that they trespass when given the chance?" Made him cross the border? That lazy blob took a nap directly under the Owl Tree! If she hadn't attacked him first, surely a nesting owl would have had him in its talons!

A hiss of pain sounded from Firefly as the big guys claws found her exposed under belly- she had been far too careless. However, she was still impressed that he was even able to land such a move. Two could play at that game.

Just as soon as she had recovered, the russet Thunderclanner launched herself at the hefty Windclanner, suddenly falling to her side and sliding under him. Claws raked against pudge; a triumphant belly rake.

Firefly used Belly Rake on Fuzzface, dealing 15 and costing 25 SP.

"Well I didn't realize ThunderClanners were so stingy when it came to a tree!" Jumping forward as he's done before, he slashed a paw full of claws at her underside. Huffing and puffing, he stumbled backwards, doing his best to catch his breath before she struck again. Great StarClan, could this angsty she-cat just chill? Couldn't she tell that she'd practically already won?
