Sparrowthorn hung around the entrance to camp, pacing back and forth slowly as she watched the sun rise further over the moors. The morning was cool, yet warmth had been returning to the clan, slowly yet surely. It was strange, she hadn't actually been through Newleaf before. Everything was blooming again, it was... nice. Her pacing continued, and her eyes searched for her patrol partner, Fennelpaw. A clanmate she hadn't interacted with, but if she was being sent out on patrols without her mentor, she had probably learned enough to be useful.

Sitting abruptly, and likely startling one of the guards that sat near the entrance, the young warrior tried her best not look impatient for Fennelpaw's arrival. She wasn't late, and Sparrowthorn was early, it was just annoying to wait, that was all.

When Fennelpaw heard she had been assigned to go on patrol with a fellow warrior, her heart pounded with anticipation. Not exactly in a negative way, though she could envision it to be a nice learning experience, as well as a bonding moment to get along with her clanmates better. She hadn't really talked to Sparrowthorn before, so she was unsure of what to expect. Either way, it was best not to cause a bad impression. She had woken up since early morning because of so, feeling the warm breeze on her fur. Newleaf was incredibly pleasant, considering Leafbare's chills were uncomfortable to her.

Spotting Sparrowthorn's figure by the entrance, Fennelpaw quickly padded up to the she-cat, lifting her head at her. "I'm here," She gave a short purr, nodding politely in greeting. "I hope I'm not late?"
