Roses are Red [closed]

Redpaw was itching for a fight. Not in any sort of aggressive way, no, he just wanted exercise what Thistlemask had taught him without worrying his mother by either A: fighting other clans' apprentices, or B: fighting something that would put him in mortal peril. The final option he had left after much thought was this: to tussle with his own clanmates! So when he heard mention of battle training in the sandy hollow he immediately jumped at the chance.

With all but one of the cats in the training group paired off, the ginger tom was delighted to see the remaining cat was his little sister Rosepaw. He'd always wanted to face off with her, after all she wasn't the type to hold back! These sorts were always the best to fight against. "Rosepaw!" His tail whipped about in his excitement. "You wanna spar against me?"

"Waurgh!" He hadn't expected Rosepaw to throw herself at him so quickly, and with a headbutt at that. Stumbling backwards from the blow, he gave his sister a delighted grin. What good were siblings for, if not to be wresting partners? "It's not a good fight if it ends too quick! I won't hold back, so you better not either!" With that Redpaw bounded forward and thinking of a move he'd seen warriors practice, he raised up and brought his paws down on one shoulder to knock her over and stick her to the ground. Hopefully it wasn't hard enough to actually hurt her though, because while he said he wouldn't hold back, that didn't mean he could use the full force he knew he had on his little sis. That was strictly for actual enemies! Still, he wanted to know just how strong Rosepaw was. "I don't plan on losing easily!"
