Share a meal with a pretty lady? (closed)

Soft paws crunched in the snow as a fluffy she-cat made her way deeper into Thunderclan territory. She knew which direction would lead her home, but there wasn't a point in heading back just yet. They would know of her presence soon enough, and Sycamoreblossom was sure that there would be very little fanfare for her arrival. Part of her had wondered if anyone had even noticed her missing from her nest every night, or if they had just cleaned it out of the warrior's den shortly after her disappearance. She'd know soon enough, but for the moment she just wasn't ready to return.

The she-cat stopped as she reached her destination, a scrawny vole hanging limply from her jaws. The vole dropped to the snow, and soon after Sycamoreblossom followed by planting herself in place. Every time she had been here there had always been a certain cat accompanying her, sharing a meal with her, purring gently into her fur as they watched the stars dance in the sky, followed by the hooting of a bird ready to find its own meal for the night. There was none of that now, but on the bright side she had the vole all to herself. That was something to be happy about. Letting out a soft sigh, the she-cat bent down to take a bite of her meal, only to freeze as paw steps alerted her to the approach of another cat. "Hello?" She called out, still inches away from digging into the vole.

Having been forced against his will to go on a hunt, Fuzzface padded through the territory, the top sides of his paws dragging through the snow. The fact that he was even out here was dumb, seeing as there was no prey to be found. He'd practically gone the entire length of the territory without a peep from anything living and contemplated returning. It was the harsh season, his clanmates would understand if he wasn't able to find anything...

Fortunately as well as unfortunately for him, just as he thought all was lost; the fresh scent of prey finally pierced through the once stale air. Picking up the pace, the large warrior carried onwards, failing to notice the fact that he'd crossed over a frozen stream, but what did catch his attention was the towering forest that sat looming ahead of him.

Slowing his pace, he continued forward, the smell of blood getting strong with every step he took. He hadn't a clue as to how far he'd actually gone, but perhaps it didn't matter as long as he returned with something, right?

Stopping in his tracks, a cat's voice caught his attention and his small grey ears perked up. Apparently, the scent of fresh killed prey clouded his sight, as he'd completely overlooked the she-cat that sat just foxlengths to his left near the base of a big tree. She didn't seem hostile, seeing as though she'd taken the time to say 'hello' instead of just jumping at him, and so the WindClanner didn't bother to raise his hackles.

"Uh hi. Didn't see ya there," the round tom mewed stoically, his deep amber gaze meeting her curious one. He couldn't help but notice that below her paws was a vole, and he felt his mouth begin to water. Maybe she could tell him where some prey was around here.
