A Grave Mistake [OPEN! Capture topic]

Wanting to take his mind off some things, Hawkshriek approached his usual hunting spot by the river. The soft cover of snow surrounded the area, making his paws having to hesitate as it gets used to the cold. It was harder to hunt during leaf-bare, and the frozen shards of ice floating around surely didn't help. He'd almost gotten cut a few times - but luckily, he was careful enough not to get himself injured. After a few losses, he considered going back empty-pawed, but...

Something else caught his attention.

A silver glimmer could be seen from one of the bushes, sparkling under the sunlight as he carefully approached. He could smell the scent of fresh fish, and slowly, he crept over. His whiskers twitched, tail flicking behind as he unknowingly entered the trap that was meant to capture him. Reaching the near end, he stepped on a metal press, and the bars behind him shut with a loud click. Hawkshriek's fur rose, and he hissed, turning around. No, no, no! Desperately, he clawed the bars and yowled for help, attempting to free himself from this strange cage that was securely locked in. From behind, his pupils grew in slits as he also saw the figure of a two-leg approaching.
