Blazefang knew the smell of ThunderClan. She’d scented them at the Gathering many times, and of course their smell was all over Dayquill. Still, she’d never smelled quite this much of them. She was deep in their territory now, surrounded by ThunderClan scent. As she followed Mottlestar into camp, the ginger queen’s ears lowered a little in apprehension. Mottlestar had accepted her, but what about the rest of the clan?
Blazefang has arrived in ThunderClan’s camp! Feel free to come greet her, question her, insult her, whatever!

A russet pelted she-cat did not find this a joyous occasion. Whatever possessed her mother, Mottlestar, to not only let another clan cat into ThunderClan territory, but into their camp was beyond her. They were well enough with the cats they had now... Blazefang was not needed.
Firepaw couldn't help the look of disgust, nor did she care to hide it.

Here she was. The molly who carried her brother’s kits. They didn’t carry his blood, nor hers, but that didn’t deter her. Hopefully, that just meant none of them would look like their grandfather.
Comfreyheart peered at Blazefang intently. She seemed nervous, but understandably so. Cats were already making disgusted faces. Unfortunately, her own apprentice included. If this were not her brother’s mate, she’d frown right along with them. But this molly was Thunderclan now. Part of her family.
Comfreyheart would lead by example, padding up to the newcomer with friendly intent. “Welcome to Thunderclan,” she greeted earnestly, “I’m Comfreyheart.”

Blazefang relaxed just slightly at the sight of a friendly face, her tail lowering enough for the fur to swish against the snow. “Comfreyheart, nice to finally put a face to the name. Dayquill told me about you. I’m Blazefang, it’s great to meet you!”

A strange scent wafted into camp and reached the apprentice's nose. The tom was arranging his rocks in rows, his tail flicking absentmindedly when curiosity got the better of him. Echopaw pushed a large piece of bedding over his rocks and exited the apprentice den, sprinting towards his mother, denmate, and new member of his clan.
Echopaw sniffed the warrior and smiled, "Smells like Russetpaw." he meowed, "Yes. Just like Russetpaw." he confirmed, unaware that the Windclanner was now named Russetrye.
