Tigerkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Lingered near the camps perimeter, Smallbean stood, deep in thought. Compared to what the clans had been faced with, the anxiety that came with calling a ceremony seemed like nothing. Of course, with how many ceremonies he'd held over the past moons he'd grown mildly comfortable with speaking in front of his clan - so long as he was able to follow a spoken phrase. Without a Tallrock to call out from, he had to change his words, but only slightly, thank the stars. It would still be strange and uncomfortable to be at the same level as the rest of the clan, though.

Once he'd come up with a fitting modification, he stepped toward the center of camp, eyes searching for the kit in question. When he'd spotted the young tom, as well as his soon-to-be mentor, he stepped forward and took a deep breath before calling the clan to him. "Let all cats old enough to run the moors gather around me for a clan meeting!" The words had come out much smoother than he expected. Scanning his approaching clanmates, he waited until he spotted Tigerkit's among them.

Hearing the call of the Windclan deputy, Tigerkit almost wanted to ignore it. It seemed all of the calls lately had been nothing rather important. He was a kit after all, who would want to include him? But something in his gut told him to get closer. To at least be among the others of his clan even if it wasn't so important to him. Carefully the chocolate tom picked his spot away from the front. He didn't want to get in the way after all if it was something important.

Seeing that the kit was present, he continuted. "Tigerkit, you have now reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From now until you become a warrior, you will be known as Tigerpaw. Your mentor will be... Coyotegrin. I trust that she would teach you all that she knows. " The rest if the ceremony has been easy, nothing else had to be altered to fit the occasion. Stepping forward, he congratulated the new apprentice.
