Lightningpaw made a sound that was somewhere between relieved and exhilirated as the cats around her made it clear they were okay, and nodded once as Wolfblossom questioned her (and Creampaw, of course; but he was too busy darting off to catch a bird). "Doin' just fine!" she declared, turning to look around for another bird to chase. Creampaw couldn't get to have all the fun, after all!

She spotted one- brown feathers almost blending in to the colorful leaves- and started after it. With her swift movements and a single well-timed jump, she pinned it down and swiftly moved in for the kill.

The apprentice picked it up, carrying it in her jaws, and made her way back to the older warriors and her fellow apprentice with no small amount of self-satisfaction.

"Caught it!"

Lightningpaw attempted to catch a Bird!
