What are the duties of a medicine cat? : While their operational definition is to treat diseases and injuries, as well as receive directions and guidance from Starclan. There are underlying duties of a medicine cat that they themselves may not be aware of such as; being a pillar of strength and comfort for their clan. Medicine cats are known to be reliable, and supportive especially during difficult times. The cats of the clans can always count on their medicine cat to do their best to aid in times of need.
What would you do with this position? : With this position, especially with Echopaw, I hope he will become that pillar for his clan. Staying around as long as possible, creating bonds, and supporting his clan mates. I hope to figuratively break down the walls of this position, not only will I want him to learn the ways of Fawnshine, I would want him to teach others basic first-aid. Thinking of how he loves to share his knowledge, perhaps he could host a weekly learning session for any cats who would like to learn, just in case a medicine cat isn’t there and they need to assist a clan mate. I have a lot of ideas on how this would change Echopaw as a character.
Why you think you deserve this position? : While I am relatively new, I feel like I have been keeping myself active and have made a great effort to read on the lore of WCC and keep up with topics. I have a really strong ability to communicate efficiently and have no issue reaching out for help if I need it or communicating any issues, concerns, or discomforts should anything ever arise. I have also held multiple high positions in the past and while it was on other sites, the demand of the position is similar. If I don’t deserve it, I think Echopaw does.
