“Would you guys like to spar with me?” she asked the two toms with a smile. Comfreyheart had been eager to spend more time with her brothers, and to practice her battle skills. Today had nice weather and a full fresh-kill pile, so it was as good a time as ever.

Darkspirit flung the vole onto the freshkill pile as if it had called him a filthy name. As moody and broody as ever, he turned away to go hunt again... only to be stopped by Comfreyheart. He snorted, a ghost of a smile tugging the corner of his lips. "Both of us? You're confident, sister. What do you know that we don't?" Maybe it came off as ruder than he meant but it had been an honest question. She had been one of the few that comforted him (tried) after Stoatstar had given him his mocking warrior name.
"I'll spar with you. What about you?" He asked the other tom. They'd need to work out turns, if there would be any.

Dayquill hadn't been expecting the question, though his ears flicked to attention at Comfreyheart's mew. He cocked his head to the side, a thin smile turning up his maw, blinking at her a few times before his attention was pulled towards their split-pelted brother. Darkspirit voiced Dayquill's thoughts before he'd had the chance too, and the paler tom nodded along steadily as his brother spoke. "Yeah. Both of us... you sure?" He snorted at that, amused. Still, it'd be a good chance to spend time with his siblings, and he hadn't done nearly enough of that in recent moons, so he was quick to nod along regardless. "I'll come though, of course. Don't wanna miss anything, right? Lead the way, Comfrey." He flicked his tail against Darkspirit's hip, hoping the silent gesture would ease some of the heat that never seemed to fade from him as they waited to start.

Comfreyheart shot a teasing grin back at Darkspirit’s remark, “What I know is that I’m strong enough to handle myself. This really is just testing you two. You haven’t gotten rusty have you brother?” She flicked her tail across his nose, nonetheless please he and Dayquill had accepted. At their command she led them out of camp, into the Sandy Hollow. Sure, this was mainly a training grounds for apprentices, but it equally served as sparring grounds. She was glad the sands weren’t already occupied by anyone.
“Alright, how do you guys want to do this? I’m thinking a free for all, but if we want to take turns sitting out a round out that’s fine too.” While the two decided Comfreyheart padded around the hollow, cleaning up any loose stones or sticks that could cut her or her brothers. While she wasn’t banning teeth or claws from the fight, she still wanted them to be safe.
She picked her spot in the sandy arena, waiting for her beloved opponent(s) to start. The molly's tail flicked around, both determined and excited. It didn't really matter to her if she won or not, the time spent with her family was better than any bragging rights, but she didn't plan to be an easy fight.

Darkspirit followed Comfreyheart to the Sandy Hollow. A free for all? Interesting... but he wasn't sure what he'd do against two opponents who were also fighting each other. If only throwing sand in eyes wasn't seen as so dishonorable. He wouldn't do it in a spar at least, but a real fight was something else.
"Maybe we'll turn this into a test for you!" A mischievous smirk spread across Darkspirit's face. "Boys versus girl that challenged us, then me and Dayquill?" Was it mean? Maybe, but still funny. It wasn't like they'd ever really hurt their sister anyway. That said he still needed Dayquill to agree or give a counter offer. He chuckled to himself at the image of Dayquill sitting on Comfreyheart while he tugged on one of her ears annoyingly and demanded a surrender.

Dayquill followed in his siblings pawsteps quietly, listening to Comfreyheart as she made suggestions on how the spar would go. His eyes flicked towards Darkspirit, blinking curiously at his brother's suggestions, before a broad smile crossed his features. It was nice, to see Darkspirit smiling again. It was nice to get a chance to stretch his muscles and work on sparring again. It felt like it'd been too long since he had. "No, we haven't gotten rusty." Dayquill promised mildly, turning his attention back towards Comfreyheart. "Here, I'll prove it, okay?"
With that and no other warning, Dayquill shoved off the ground hard, stirring up sand as he kicked into the air. Paws outstretched, he bowled into his sister, rolling them both across the soft earth in a tangle of limbs. "Not too bad, right?" There was a snicker that followed the words, and he untangled their legs to swat playfully at her ears as he spoke.
Dayquill used Jumping Strike on Comfreyheart, dealing 11 (8+3) damage and costing 7 SP.

“Gang up on me?” she laughed, “Game on!” She tumbled with Dayquill, sand invading her senses as he batted her ears. “You’re right, not too bad.” This would be tough going against two cats on the same team, especially with Dayquill’s skills matching her own. The determined molly quickly got back on her feet, dashing into his side with her head to knock him over. The sand kicked up once again, forcing Comfreyheart to sneeze. How intimidating. She playfully stomped on his head a few times for good measure before hopping a tail length away to rub the sand out of her muzzle. [ Comfreyheart used Headbutt on Dayquill, dealing 7 damage and costing 5 stamina. She also uses Thunderous Stomp, dealing 3 damage and costing 10 stamina. Dayquill is now stunned for 1 turn. ]

Darkspirit was surprised that his sister actually was game to fight both of her brothers. Knowing that he'd face Dayquill afterward, he put his brain to work. As long as he could keep his sister's attention on his brother, this could prove to be an easy win for him. He charged toward his sister once she stunned Dayquill, barreling into her and set his teeth against the back of her neck. He gripped the skin firm enough to maybe cause some bruising, but he had no interest in actually drawing blood on his sister. It just wasn't him.

Even though he’d been confident enough in his opening move, Comfreyheart recovered quickly, hopping up out of the sand and onto her paws. Dayquill tried to shoot her a smile, but she was already barreling forward, crashing into him headfirst and sending him sprawling into the earth. He wanted to protest– even if that was the point of sparring –but she quickly gave him something else to complain about as her paws pressed down on his head. ”Hey!” He whined, sounding as dramatically hurt as he could. Actually… it did kind of hurt. His head rang a little, even long after her paws had left it. Dazed, he remained sprawled in the sand, watching as their brother joined the fray with gnashing teeth. ”Yay, Darkspirit! Protect me! Woo!”
