Eveningmoon was already awake when the sun rose, eager to start training with his new apprentice. He was also eager to prove himself to the Clan even more. Despite his disability, despite his heritage... The dark warrior stood from where he lay and limped over to the apprentices' den. Without bothering with the other apprentices, as they should be getting up soon anyway, he called into the darkness, "Whitepaw? Come on, let's head out. We've got work to do." Turning on his heel, Eveningmoon now limped over to the entrance to camp to wait for his apprentice.

Whitepaw was partially awake when Eveningmoon, his mentor, called for him. He stumbled out of his nest and joined Eveningmoon as he walked to the camp entrance. "What are we learning today? Sparring, hunting, or maybe we'll learn about the borders?"
Whitepaw yapped on excitedly.

"Hunting? Oh, yeah, uh, ok!" Whitepaw never did much with his old mentor, so he didn't know exactly what to do, but he would try his best.

He closed his eyes, perked up his ears, and stood still. *Tweet!* The bird chirped persistently. Whitepaw creeped up behind it, preparing to jump up to the branch. As soon as he leaped into the air, the bird had flown off. "Foxdung!" Whitepaw shriveled up as soon as the words came out of his mouth.
