Marshmallow had been all caught up in her own mind that she almost forgot about her new apprentice, Crowpaw. Another cat from Murkystar's family was given to her to train. She found this curious. Was it a test? The many times she thought she had proven herself wasn't enough? Probably. Well, she'd better not waste any time. If she did, she'd end up with another Snowfoot that hated her for being busy and not knowing how to train an apprentice. Well.. At least she'd been fine with Echomist, but he was a calmer cat, she didn't know much about Crowpaw.
Marshmallow made her way to apprentice den, nudging the grey tabby up from her nest with a small whisper. "Training." Happily dozing in her nap, Crowpaw had only noticed she'd been called by Marshmallow when she was woken up by a nudge. Her ears flicked, and slowly, but surely, she was awake. With a yawn and a stretch, the apprentice made her way out of the den, eyes sparkling in silent excitement. "Oo, we must be training now. Will we practice hunting first, Marshmallow?" She grinned. The young she-cat attempted to contain a large amount of her excitement, but not all could be concealed. Marshmallow's smile was dim as her apprentice bounced up to her, not like the smaller cat would notice, she seemed to bubbly to focus on tiny things. "Yes, training!" She forced her tone to be somewhat more happy than she was. "Hm, I think we'll start with hunting, then we can move onto fighting if we have time!" She explained to the tabby. "Well, come on, then!"
She started padding out the camp, glancing back every few seconds to check if her apprentice was still following, finally, though, the pair reached a small clearing. "Alright, here's where we'll start hunting. First, I'll see what you do on your own, then I will suggest little improvements based on how well you do, sound good?" She mewed, flicking her tail. Nodding, Crowpaw followed what she had been told. Her nose twitched, sniffing, and attempting to sense out prey. Scents welcomed her into the environment, though a very familiar scent had caught her attention. Mice! Carefully lowering herself into a crouch, she waited for Marshmallow's observation... Before leaping to the source of the smell. She sunk her teeth into the critter's neck, quickly ending it, and brought it back. Crowpaw purred in pride. "I did it, Marshmallow!" She grinned. "Did I do alright?"Crowpaw attempted to hunt Rodent for 3 SP.
