| The world was a really big place, and Lightkit had only seen a speck of it. As she stood outside the nursery, white tail twitching slightly, the silver kit took in every new scent and sight in camp. Snowfoot stood proudly over her little one, offering an encouraging nudge to go explore. |

| swiftheart watched with a smile from a little ways away. She was so happy for her good friend Snowfoot. She walked over to them slowly not wanting to scare the little kitten.

| “Hey, sleepyhead!” Snowfoot cheerfully greeted Deerkit as the tabby’s little face appeared in the nursery entrance. “This is Swiftheart,” she mewed, motioning towards the warrior with her tail. “Yeah, she’s a warrior!” Lightkit added eagerly. “I bet her life is soooo exciting!” |

| Swiftheart looked down happily at the little kittens. She could not wait for her own litter to arrive as well. She was a little nervous for it as well.
Hearing the tom kittens name she was reminded of deerleap and she closed her eyes breifly remembering the sacrifice her first apprentice gave so that starclan could return.
"I miss you deerleap" she whispered quietly under her breath.
Refocusing on the energetic kits Swiftheart smiled happily. It is really exciting! she nodded to Lightkit.
She hoped that her kits could play with them and be good friends ______________________________________

Lightkit thinks being a warrior is exciting.
Swiftheart winces at his name. his name reminds her of someone. it's painful. she misses them. but she wants to hide it.
she's smiling again. she says its exciting to be a warrior.

Marshmallow usually loved to talk with the newer members of the clan. They have clear, naïve, minds... There was... a tiny problem, however, with the kits exploring camp at that very moment.
Snowfoot. Snowfoot, of all cats, was the adopted mother of all these other kits. You'll never be like Frostgaze. Because Frostgaze actually cared about her. Snowfoot, on the other paw, decided that not mentoring someone was the best reason for disliking someone. Which was absolutely absurd in Marshmallow's mind- her mentor ignored her up until he died, then she was told by some stranger that he never believed in Starclan in the first place when she went to go see him at the moonstone.
... Okay, maybe she was a little angry at that, but she didn't hate Fangsnap! He was nice to her... Once... As a kit... When she was almost crushed by his paws... Well, details didn't matter! Snowfoot was being ridiculous and kittish. She doesn't believe I can be nice! She watched the kits from a distance, though. Oh boy, maybe she'll see me looking their way and slap me in the face before calling me a murderer. she was watching them with a look he could not quite place. like she wanted to come closer. but did not dare to.
she was watching Snowfoot warily.
it had something to do with Snowfoot.
