Maple and the Owl [Forbidden Romance]

Plot Name: Maple and the Owl

Will there be code-breaking?: Yes, specifically:
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily.

Explain your Plot: It is a forbidden romance between Owlshriek and Maplespring. It will be short-lived, and not intended to last very long. Owlshriek begins spending much more time outside of camp, avoiding his clanmates Poppyshine and Rushtalon, partially out of jealousy. As part of this, he begins looking for outside attention - and finds Maplespring. They grow close, as is allowed in the code to have friendships from other Clans.

How will this impact the characters/clans involved?: Ultimately, Maplespring and Owlshriek will parent a litter of half-blooded kits. This would be the end of their relationship. Maplespring will be left devastated at having to care for a litter while knowing the father exists in another Clan, and whatever punishments may result upon Clanmates finding out would also take its toll.

Why should this plot be approved?: It isn't intended to be a long-term forbidden relationship, and so it wouldn't impact the forbidden slots for very long. Splotch and myself have shown to be dedicated roleplayers to the site, so this small plot has a very slim chance of running off of the rails. There is also really no chance of either of them leaving their clan for the other, which also reduces the overall "effect" of this plot. It gives the chance for great character growth of both Owlshriek and Maplespring in respective ways, as well.

The first phase is approved! Make sure you keep this page updated with relevant topics as the relationship develops, and keep in mind that your characters are subject to potential in-character consequences. I look forward to seeing this play out and the second phase of approval!
