Magpiekit trotted out to the Tallrock after stretching a bit. There he saw the deputy, Shrikestorm. He was excited to see what this ceremony could be about! He sat down. It was a damp day, and he could feel it on his fur, which was fluffed out.

Blazepaw heard the summons and trotted over to sit next to Magpiekit. He was getting quite big, could this be his ceremony?

The newly-named Magpiepaw smiled back, first at Shrikestorm, and then at Blazepaw. His tail waved proudly in the air. He was going to learn so much from Lavenderdrop, he was sure of it. He stepped forward to touch noses with the other.
