Harepaw all but preened under her sister's praise. She would only improve as she continued to train, and then she would be the best hunter Shadowclan had ever seen! She had to be!
Any further thought was cut off by a strange, foul scent that made Harepaw bristle on instinct. The black and gray thing that lunged out of the shadows at Swiftheart made her hiss, ears flattening as she eyed it. Stay behind her? As if Harepaw needed protecting, Swiftheart was the one bleeding right now, after all. Once she attacked the raccoon, the apprentice was sure they could take it on just fine. Rather than heeding her mentor's words, Harepaw slashed at it with furiously unsheathed, if inexperienced claws.
Harepaw used Front Paw Strike on Raccoon for -7 sp, dealing -6 damage.

Swiftheart felt sharp teeth bite her and she winced. It hurt alot and the stupid thing wouldnt let go.
Of course her sister didnt listen to her and joined in the fight... She sighed well if she were the apprentcie she knew she would have done that as well... still she felt such responsibility to protect her apprentciece and tyounger sister from this attacker.
The raccoon growled in rage as the two cats overwealmed it and it managed to get ahold of swiftheart againa nd but on her other shoulder now with sharp fangs.
Raccoon used IRON BITE for 17 dmg 30 sp Swiftheart used Front Paw Strike for 10 (+1) dmg and 7 sp
She slashed out at it again and this time the raccoon was really overwelamed and fell to the ground defeated
Swiftheart: 26 hp / 133 sp
Raccoon: (KOed) 0 hp / 90 sp
Swiftheart panted heavily as the enemy was gone now and her white coat was stained a dark red. She checked Harepaw over carefully for any wounds not even worried about herself.

Now that the raccoon had been dealt with, her adrenaline-induced high from both hunting and clawing at the beast had worn off a bit. She glanced up at her sister, eyes widening slightly at the blood on her pelt. "You're bleeding," Harepaw noted, "Are you okay?" She asked, worried.
