Comfreypaw's Dream

"Just try to get some rest okay? The dark forest won't bother us in here." As the days past Dovefrost had slowly given up on hoping Starclan would show in the apprentice's dreams. If they saw something.. anything they would most likely mention it to him, or Fawnpaw. For now he was just going to offer a good night's rest for any apprentice who sought it out, if Starclan showed themselves in any of their dreams then so be it.

Comfreypaw nodded, restraining a sigh. She couldn't blame the medicine cats for trying. If Starclan was half of her job, she would try to get them back as well. But.. the stars were gone. Starclan was dead.. right? I should probably have more faith in Starclan... The apprentice settled in an out of the way corner, trying to at least get some sleep like Dovefrost said. But she had to hope just a little. Maybe a glittering ghost would show up after all.

Starclan stayed silent.
