Thunderclan Medicine Meeting [March]

Dovefrost had settled into his nest, well partially. He remained seated but not quite settled for the night. He was too used to traveling to the Moonstone on days like these. With the half-moon hanging in the sky above them, stars dancing around it. It would be strange not seeing the other medicine cats.. He couldn't help but wonder how all of them were fairing with their new.. situation.

Green eyes turned to Fawnpaw. "Normally on the Half-Moon we would be traveling to Highstones to meet with the other Medicine Cats. If certain things hadn't occurred, I'm sure they would have been excited to meet you." The large tom let out a small sigh, before settling down fully into his nest. "We usually have a small meeting before going to the Moonstone to discuss certain events that has happened within our clan as well as certain herbs if they are needed." Dovefrost explained, hoping that Fawnpaw was getting the idea of how the medicine cat meeting went.

"So.. like a private Gathering, but for Medicine Cats and their apprentices like us, right?" She'd ask.

Her heterochromia eyes turned to meet Dovefrost's, and she frowned. If certain things... If the Dark Forest cats haven't interrupted the Gathering. Things would've been just fine. She would've been able to meet with other medicine cats, and their apprentices as well. Ones like herself, and Dovefrost. Though, despite how excited they all would've been, things were... rather unpleasant now. She couldn't connect to the stars, nor have dreamt of anything special since her ceremony. If StarClan really was gone, then... what happened?

Settling herself down to the nest beside Dovefrost's, she curled her paws, ears once relaxed were now beginning to tense. "Would we ever be able to connect to StarClan again, Dovefrost?" It was a sensitive question, and she curled her lips, gently shaking the topic off. "Nevermind. What are we supposed to do now, then?"

He nodded in reply to her question. His mind wondering to what to do next.. Should they try and sleep to meet Starclan? Should they discuss herbs and just sleep to continue on to the next day? There wasn't much they could do, no advice they could offer their clan from their ancestors.

His ears perked at her question, understanding why she was quick to change her mind. "I hope so.." He uttered out softly. He didn't think he could accept things as the way they are now. This.. This couldn't be how forever was going to be. He would keep trying to reach Starclan even if it killed him. "Normally at this time we would go to the moonstone, and commune with Starclan, but considering how things are right now.. I don't think that is possible. So I suppose we will just try to get some rest and get ready for tomorrow. Is there anything else you want to discuss?" He asked her, to make sure he got all the questions out of the way.

"No. I suppose that's all," Fawnpaw mewed quietly, "I do hope for us to have a chance to connect with StarClan again, though."

Medicine cats and their apprentices were supposed to connect with StarClan— receiving omens, prophecies, and wishes from StarClan, and yet... both Dovefrost and her were unable to do so. Well, not yet, at least. Laying her head down, Fawnpaw curled inside her nest, ears flattened. She was anxious. And so, closing her eyes, she drifted off to sleep. A black, endless space just like the one she saw at her Moonstone's dream appeared, and her whiskers fell in disappointment.

StarClan isn't answering us, again.

Forcing herself to wake up, the she-cat squinted her eyes, and soon, she was back to the medicine den, laying beside Dovefrost. "I couldn't connect to them," She lowered her head, "Have you got any signs, Dovefrost?" Her voice though audibly disappointed, still held some little hope that the experienced MC would have news. Good news, not the same as hers. If it was, then.. something in her told her that the stars really have left the clans. The molly gritted her teeth.
