He had to try again. Just to see.. or at least keep going with his own belief. If the others wanted to follow the Dark Forest.. fine. They were here.. and maybe they could do some good, but he couldn't just believe Starclan was dead. He would keep hoping for his own sign, hoping that the apprentices he brought into his dean would see something but it was a long shot. He wouldn't give up thoguh. He would keep trying..
Tonight Featherpaw was in his den, once again.. She must hate it here. At least this time it was more temporary than before. It would just be a good nights rest at least for former rogue. Hopefully Starlingflare did something right in training her, knowing the gray warrior was.. something..
"Just try and get some good rest okay? Hopefully they won't bother us in here."

"Right... Sleep while those... things are out in camp." Atalante muttered half-hearted, a shiver making its way down her spine as she headed towards the nest. Being in the den itself didn't really bother her, though the cloying scent of herbs made her nose wrinkle slightly in discomfort. The dead hadn't entered this den, but she still cast an uneasy glance towards the den entrance, and it was hard to truly quell her anxiety for longer than a moment or two when she had something else to occupy her mind. She curled into the nest, though it took Atalante a while to be able to relax enough to fall asleep, evidenced by the way her ears twitched at noise from outside the den and the way she shifted to try and get comfortable. She hadn't been sleeping well at all after the gathering, and perhaps it was that which finally allowed her to slip into the blackness of unconsciousness. No dreams of her siblings greeted her, only nightmarish scenes from that disastrous gathering that had been on her mind for days.
Eventually she awoke, groggy and bleary eyed. Atalante's gaze searched the den for Dovefrost's pale fur, and she stretched, a yawn escaping her maw before she could speak. "I didn't dream, aside from nightmares about the gathering."

Dovefrost let out a sigh.. He expected this.. Either the Dark Forest was some how blocking their connection or they really did kill Starclan. "That is alright. I can try and give you something to help you sleep later if you are concerned about the nightmares." He told her. While he would suffer from his own issues, he couldn't have the clan suffering if he could help them. "If you want you can return to your own den, or you can keep resting here for a little while longer."
