Jay Bird's Art Crisis Requests [Closed until March 18th]

Well, I'm going through an artistic art crisis hehe. Gotta be honest: I don't like my old style that much. Sure, cartoony-looking cats give away more expressions and all of that but I want a little more realistic style. Not fully realistic but a semi-real semi-cartoon style.

So that's why this topic. I'm going to open requests once again. Requests will be open during the weekend and close during the rest of the week. I will not draw all the requests that come to me (because college sometimes steal my free time). However, those requests that have a more interesting character design + give a more detailed description of your cat (face features, body build, length of muzzle, length of ears, etc.)

The idea is that I will make two drawings of your cats: one in my more cartoony style and the other one in the new style I'm gonna attempt to develop. This will help to have a good comparison between the two styles and start to work towards what I wanna draw. Sometimes, however, I may draw a scene or a headshot or a full-body. It all depends on how inspired and how much time I have to draw.

General rules:

• One request per rper (with only one cat) per week. If you want me to draw more than one character, pls wait for the next weekend

Character name: Perchfall
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): Deputy (young warrior)
Fur description: Soft and mostly short, but with longer fur around her neck and shoulders that would be fluffy if she didn't keep it smoothed down. Mostly light gray, but with patches of white on her paws, tail, back, chest and face. (Where exactly can be seen on the art of her in my profile.)
Body description: Moderately tall, not very fluffy or muscly. Tail very long.
Face description: Some white patched on light gray. Light blue eyes. Almost always a very neutral, stoic expression.
Any additional feature: A small, light scar on her left side that is mostly buried underneath her fur.
Personality: To those who don't know her, she seems like a strong, independent deputy who has little feelings about anything and is driven by logic. Really, she is just trying to be strong, and is very bad at interacting socially with other cats. She suffers from impostor syndrome, low self esteem, and the occasional mental breakdown. She worries constantly about bad things happening to the few cats that she loves, and would do anything for them, despite not liking violence.
Wanted expres​sion(optional): Stoic, neutral, almost emotionless.

Character name: Nightstalker
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): Warrior
Fur description: Sleek and long furred
Body description: Lean, tall, and angular... sharp
Face description: Lean and sharp, long
Any additional feature: He's got a muzzle scar that goes from nose to brow from an owl attack, he gets a cool eyebrow cut from it. He also has some ear nicks and decently heavy belly wounds from the back to back successful belly rakes. (He's the cat in my signature)
Personality: Emotionally constipated. He has issues with his dad to an extent, and every authority figure in his life other than his mom. He's typically on the quieter more antisocial side, and doesn't particularly like being touched. He's obnoxiously stubborn, and tends to take control of a lot of situations but he does have moments of childish decision making. He's been getting angry though.

Character name: Mottlerose
Age: Warrior
Fur description: A typical, full-bodied tortoiseshell - there is no set pattern for her
Body description: Mottlerose has a very athletic build. She is smaller than most cats, and has a shorter torso than most. This makes her legs look a bit lankier, despite her short size.
Face description: Amber eyes, and a soft gaze. Her facial fluff is the fluffiest part of her body, and she has a more circular head because of the fluff
Any additional feature: She also is missing one toe bean on her left front paw, although this doesn't hinder any movement
Personality: Mottlerose is the mother of Thunderclan. She's sweet, will mother you, but as her name implies, she will fight you if you attempt to hurt anyone she cares about.

Character name: Dovekit
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): Drawn as warrior pls
Fur description: Silver fur with dark braided tabby stripes and a white underbelly
Body description: A lean body with long, silky fur
Face description: A bit of a triangular face, not necessarily Siamese level but more pointed than a traditional cat. She has blue eyes.
Any additional feature: N/A
Personality: Dove is a daydreamer, living most of her life in her own world

Character name: Frostednight
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): Kit now, but please draw as a warrior!
Fur description: Frostedkit is graced with long, luxurious fur that she keeps meticulously groomed. Best described as a black mottled cat, Frostedkit got her name from the silver touch that the tips of her fur as if touched by the snow in the womb. Solid silver frame her face in long, mane-like tufts around her face and sprout in her ears.
Body description: As for her stature, she isn't overly large - perhaps only bigger than average. Her bulky, sturdy build almost seems to make her larger than she is, helped by the length of her fur. She is riddled with scars from various times, however, it just adds to her beauty.
Face description: The right side of her face is pitch black with an icey blue eye; split almost down the middle, it is contrasted with a very pale orange, fading back out to greyish black with an orange eye and nose. She has a scar running from the left side of her nose, over the bridge of the nose, down to her right jaw.
Any additional feature: Her claws might be more noticeable than other cats.
Personality: Born during the eclipse, it could be argued that Frostedkit had no hope of being good. With StarClan dead and gone, her heart was born cold. Or perhaps, and a more likely argument, she would have been born this way anyway. Nevertheless, her soulless and greedy nature is clear to those around her since her first words are uttered. The she-cat is cruel with her speech, selfish with her actions, and narcissistic in her beliefs. Anything will fall to her gain if she had her choice. Any cat standing in her way is a mere afterthought... A little obstacle to jump. Nothing seems to satisfy the empty void she feels...

Character name: Newtspring
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): Young warrior
Fur description: Newtspring's base coat is a warm, dark brown classic tabby pattern. However, his tabby patterning is barely visible, broken up and covered by large patches of ruddy ginger. He has a white chest and chin, white forepaws, and white 'socks' on his hind legs. His ears are tufted ginger. x
Body description: Newtspring is tall, a solid 15" at the shoulder, and heavyset. His body is rippling with muscles, and he's thick and stocky. Think defensive lineman: tall, broad... brick outhouse.
Face description: Newtspring's head has a generally square shape, wider along the bottom length of his sharp jaw. His muzzle is moderate length, and a little wider than average. His golden eyes are large and expressive, and his head is crowned with large, sharp ears.
Any additional feature: There is a small but noticeable scar on the bridge of his muzzle. Large clawmarks from a badger on his left flank. Small bitemarks from a fox around his scruff.
Personality: Vain, self-absorbed, and a bit of a brat. Goes through life like it's a show he's putting on; nearly everything he does is for attention or praise. Petulant, petty, and a lover of gossip. Highly emotional, but hides it under even more layers of vanity. Deeply protective of and loving towards his family.

Character name: Poppypaw/Poppyeyes
Age (kit, warrior, apprentice, elder): She's an apprentice now, but you could draw her either as an apprentice or as a warrior!
Fur description: Calico that is primarily white with a few orange and black splotches. The exact pattern doesn't matter except for the face + chest features described below.
Body description: Primarily white with a few spots here and there. Pattern does not need to match drawn reference except that her chest has a heart-shaped black patch.
Face description: A bit of a scruffy face, unlike her sleek body, and she has a black "mask" pattern on the top of her head, with some orange bits of fur. Her eyes are green and a bit dappled with darker green to give the appearance of a pile of poppy seeds.
Any additional feature: Drawn reference here.
Personality: Super cheerful and a bit air-headed. Very naive but in an endearing way. Extremely affectionate and quite maternal as well, enjoying looking after younger kits.
