Deerleap led the way out of camp, going for her favorite place to hunt--- the Pine Grove. "Spread out but don't go too far," she called over her shoulder before bounding ahead. she tasted the air for some traces of prey. the she-cat whipped around towards the sound of some rustling. a small shrew scurried around on the snowy ground. perfect! Deerleap crouched but the shrew turned around and noticed her. their eyes met for a heartbeat before it scurried off. Deerleap made one final attempt in chasing the shrew but it had already ran down a hole. "Mouse dung!" she hissed.
