❀What are the duties of a medicine cat?❀ :

To heal and nurture their clanmates

• a medicine-cat must know each herb and its uses (staff, this link is broken)
  
• gather and store herbs using the herb hunting system, a requirement for each rank up
  
• heal sick and injured cats
  
• comfort cats in distress
  
• nurture elders, kits, pregnant and disabled cats
  
• assist in the birth of litters
  
• attend gatherings on the 1st of the month at Fourtrees, a requirement for each rank up
  
• participate in battles to give their clan an advantage, heal and revive, and respond to Calls for Help but not attack unless in self-defence when attacked first.
  

To connect with StarClan

• a medicine-cat must interpret revelations and omens,
  
• attend medicine-cat meetings on the 15th of the month at Highstones, a requirement for each rank up
  
• take each apprentice of their clan to the Moonstone to meet StarClan
  
• take each new leader of their clan to the Moonstone to receive nine lives
  
• to share important revelations and omens with the clan leader/deputy.
  

A medicine-cat also

• trains an apprentice,
  
• must not have a mate or kits or it's a forbidden romance,
  
• stands apart from clan rivalries,
  
• cannot reject a cat in need of healing, must do everything in their power and will give their life to save a cat.
  

❀What would you do with this position?❀ : Just enjoy the role of medicine-cat and work hard for WindClan.

Rosekit is adventurous and would be undaunted by having no formal mentor. She would go to the ends of the earth to help WindClan (and also just for fun!) She'd love roaming the territory in search of herbs and probably the other Clans' territories as well, to swap herbs. She's quick and intuitive and would see omens everywhere. Especially because she'll have no formal mentor, I hope she'd have a long and interesting apprenticeship and visit the other Clans.

❀Why you think you deserve this position?❀ : I don't think I deserve it more than anyone else, but I think that I can do it and understand the duties of a medicine-cat here on WCC. It's my dream to be a medicine-cat here, so I'll keep trying until I get there! Thank you for considering Rosekit for medicine-cat apprentice of WindClan <3
