What are the duties of a medicine cat?: Above everything else, to take care of the clan, of the injured and the sick, both physically and mentally. A medicine cat's duties involve learning all the herbs available in their territory and knowing precisely their uses to heal the ones who had been hurt. Additionally, a medicine cat is the spiritual connection of the clan with Starclan. They must identify, read and interpret omens and prophecies given by their ancestors, informing their interpretation to the rest of the clan or clan leader. Finally, they must guide apprentices to the Moonstone once they are ready to become warriors, so they meet with their ancestors and receive advice. A medicine cat must also attend every moon a medicine cat meeting with other clans' MCs.
What would you do with this position? : Fawn is a proud member of his clan but also somewhat insecure. Being the spawn of the former medicine cat, Hentooth, and a loner born outside the clans had made him feel he had to be the best in order to belong. He is proud of becoming a warrior and to be honest, he isn't very interested in the medicine cat path. However, some events in the near future (most likely between this week and the next one) will change his worldview and scar him for life. Maimed and embarrassed of his new looks, Fawn will feel hopeless and isolated from the rest of the clan. That's when (if I get accepted) he will be called to become a MCA. All the plot above will happen regardless of him becoming a medicine cat but I think it would be interesting if this grumpy, insecure by starts training to become a medicine cat. Due to his loyalty, he would not decline this call but he will be angry and upset because he will think he has been chosen to follow this path out of pity for his scarred condition.
Why you think you deserve this position?: I have been a member for a while, even a former admin. Now, I have returned recently as a regular rper. I have been fairly active during these past weeks because my inspiration for roleplaying has come back and I wanna contribute once again to the site I love. I have never had a MC role, so it would be a first for me. However I know how much activity a High Rank requires and I will do my best to keep up. I will be open to collaborating in plots with other rpers and I will love to engage in WC relevant topics as much as I can.
