Subject: Meadowbrook, Permaqueen of ThunderClan Thu 3 Feb 2022 - 12:55
Cat Name: Meadowbrook (Meadowkit, Meadowpaw)
Clan: ThunderClan
What would you do with this position: I would use Meadowbrook's role as a permaqueen for many things, including adopting NPC-origin kits if the rper wishes, hosting her own litters, encouraging fun topics and games involving the kits, queens, and other young cats, and participating in open topics with a unique perspective for the clan (Meadow being a cat who chose to stay in camp after her warrior ceremony rather than hunt and fight). Considering Stoatstar's stances on outsider acceptance, which go against her own strong family-inherited views, she should also be able to start some fun debates, which could affect clan culture.
Why do you deserve this position: I'm as active as I can be with my current job and school, and I've missed being in ThunderClan. Being able to return with a descendant of my old leader Leopardstar, especially during this transition period in the clan, would give me a lot to do with her character and create plenty of interesting situations.
Important Notes/Backstory:
Cat Name: Meadowkit - Meadowpaw - Meadowbrook
Tom, She-Cat, or Nonbinary: She-Cat
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Meadow is a long-furred, fluffy golden spotted tabby she-cat with pale brown markings. Her pelt varies from bright to pale gold and has a light brown tint, and her muzzle, chest, and belly are pale cream. She has a long plume of a tail, small furry ears, and thick fur around her neck. Her eyes are a pretty bluish-green shade. Her build is average, if not a bit stocky, and she is of average height.
Personality: Meadow is perfectly suited to being a mother and always has been; calm, compassionate, patient, and very loving, she's a good loyal cat and will always stick beside the ones she loves. She's a hard worker, always checking to see if a den needs fixing or if nests need new moss, not to mention doing all that while keeping an eye on kittens. She takes pride in her mate and kits and will praise them at any opportunity. However, if one thinks she's all innocence and happiness they're sorely mistaken. Meadowbrook holds strongly to her beliefs and values and does not hesitate to share her opinions whether it's needed or not. She's confident in herself and her choices, she's no coward despite her choosing to be a permanent queen and will show whoever she needs to the sharpness of her claws and tongue. She has a strong soul, one born for a warrior but adapted to a queen. No matter if you're a kit, a leader, or a rouge she will not sacrifice her morals for the sake of making someone happy or ending an uncomfortable conversation. These opinions of hers boil down to one main concept; any cat who wishes to join ThunderClan should be given the chance to, especially kits. She holds tight to the precepts began by her great-grandfather Leopardstar and sees his life as a prime example of the heights any cat, no matter their origin, can achieve in their life if given the chance.
Clan: ThunderClan
Origins: Spottedsun x Lightningcloud (NPCs, Spottedsun is a descendant of Leopardstar x Lichenfang through her father Wolfstep (NPC) who was their youngest son) Meadowbrook has majority ThunderClan ancestry, but Rouge and RiverClan blood as well.
History: Meadowkit was born to her mother Spottedsun and father Lightningcloud towards the end of Asylum's rule. She only has vague memories of their terror, but the stories and knowledge of the group defined her kithood and apprenticehood. However, despite knowing the threat that rouges can place to the clans she held strong to the beliefs passed down by her mother and adopted them into herself; anyone can thrive in ThunderClan if given the chance. She, alongside her sister Stormpaw and brother Hollypaw, trained hard to become warriors; however, as time passed Meadowpaw began to realize that her true passion lay outside fighting and hunting. She could do those tasks well enough, but from an early age, she felt more drawn to the nursery and helping the queens than being out in the forest. Before she got her warrior name she told Minkstar her desires, and after becoming Meadowbrook she moved into the nursery and began helping take care of the kits, as well as doing other camp tasks. Her sister became Stormpoppy and her brother Hollybreeze. She soon got to know a slightly older warrior named Slatewing, and the two quickly realized that they had feelings for each other. Their relationship seemed rushed, but the two were and are very happy together, and wouldn't have had it any other way. They had their first litter of kits soon after, a she-cat named Tawnykit and a tom named Timberkit. Meadowbrook adores being a mother and has a close relationship with both of her children. Time passed and they became warriors named Tawnyshade and Timberclaw, but Meadowbrook would love to have more kits someday soon.
