This Will Never Happen Again

Meet your cult leader!

Cicadashriek is a Shadowclan warrior and avid rogue-hater. He was born during a rogue occupation of Shadowclan territory that landed in multiple injuries and the forced retirement of his leader. Now, more rogues had invaded his home, killed his mentor, and taken a life from his new leader. He believes outsiders are too dangerous to be allowed anywhere near the clans and is willing to take any means necessary to keep them safe again. Rogues will never hurt his clan or any clan ever again.

Cult Beliefs!

1. Rogues are too dangerous to join clans: They bring too much trouble with them to be harbored within clans. They either are too weak for clan life or bring outside dangers along with them.
2. Clans are better off isolated, but can work together to protect each other: Cross clan friendships and relationships, unless you are strong enough, only dwindle clan loyalties. However, each clan is necessary to live in the forest, and cats can come together to make sure all survive only to split once more after work is done.
3. Pureblooded cats are better suited for clan life: Halfclan cats have their loyalties split between clans and lose what makes each clan unique. Mixed Windclan cats are not as lanky and fast, Skyclan cats may not be able to leap as high, etc. They aren't as bad Rogues, they can remain in clans, but half-clan kits are a detriment.

Only the first belief must be followed completely as rogues are the main threat to the clans, but the more beliefs followed earns more respect from Cicadashriek.

Those in the cult:
The cult is open to all clans! If significant interest is shown, large "official plot board" events might start taking place! However, for now, Cicadashriek will be quietly building forces.
There is no time limit to join, Cicadashriek or another can come up to your character whenever you please. The list is just to keep track of our numbers.

Question:

What are the cults views on rogues who have already joined shadowclan? For instance if a rouge who had turned shadowclan prior to the raid how would the cult view them?

Are they advocating that all cats who used to be rogues be kicked out or just that sc should not accept any new rogues?

what about cats with unknown origins? Deerpaw's plot was that she was found at the border, but her parents were actually Windclan or part Windclan. she still have the abilities that a Windclan cat has, but is training to be Shadowclan. So is she an enemy to this cult or a potential member?

My next (and probably last cat for a very long while) will be in Thunderclan and half rogue himself but he could maybe be an ally with this cult if he found out about their existence. I intend to have him view the Forgotten Order the same way that Van Helsing views a coven of vampires and his goal will likely be to take them down, or try. He and the purist cult may not like each other but maybe unite against a common enemy? Just thoughts for now. You don't need to answer right away either ^_^

Cicadashriek will tolerate rogue-born cats if they have proved themselves beneficial to a clan, mostly because he knows he will get too much backlash if he doesn't have a fighting force behind him. However, honestly, he sees most as a hindrance. Cats like Batglow have brought in dangerous rogues, despite himself being a "toleratable" cat in Cicadashriek's eyes and cats like Shypaw are too weak and simply absorb resources. In his perfect world, rogues would be kicked out to protect as many Shadowclan cats as possible. The cost of the many outweighs the cost of the few.

If Cicadashriek is unaware of her Windclan origins, he would assume she is a rogue and would be extremely critical. He has seen rogue parents attempt to violently reclaim their lost kits before, so Deerpaw is a threat. Upon realizing she's Windclan, he would be slightly more comfortable as peaceful options could be made with another clan if her parents suddenly wanted her back. To him, clan cats are inherently more civil to deal with.

This sounds like a super fun idea! I could definitely see Cicadashriek using Rogue-born clan cats to fight if they prove themselves. He would be extremely skeptical at first, he doesn't want his uprising to be leaked to the Forgotten Order by a double agent, but wiping out The Order is his first priority. The second he gets his paws on someone that might help him do it, he'll leap to the opportunity. Besides, your cat is Thunderclan. Any resources wasted are not Shadowclan's problem as long as they aren't going through a famine.

I would also like to offer a future half-rogue ThunderClan cat who will definitely be desperate to prove himself in any way possible and who will probably grow up hating (or trying to hate) Klaus >;)

Hmm. Reedkit(paw in a day) is a rouge of Thunderclan but his mother was killed and he is adopted by Stoatfur and Appledapple. He is very very naive and will probably believe Cicadashriek that rouges are bad.

My half-rogue has been approved as Daykit and will be ready to do terrible things for you in a month! >:)

Cinderkit would definitely join this hehe. Just like Reedkit she is a rogue-born kitten but is unaware of her origins so it would be interesting to see how this could play out

Since there's a site-wide coming up, the cult will be starting off slow and gathering members so far. Cicada's open to meeting and indoctrinating any future members though! If anyone wants to meet Cicada at a border or at the gathering, just hmu and we can engage in some brainwashing!

Sootpaw would probably join if he was convinced he absolutely needed to in order to protect his clan. Also he has underlying anger toward rogues because his parents abandoned him, which means that’s what they became.

may i offer the cat who has the personality closet to Cicadashriek: Slightpaw. this giant white furball is just plain rude and definitely hate rouges! especially since Skyclan was recently attacked.
