Explain your Plot: Bearspirit and Swiftspirit have always been friends, from their first meeting at distress and through Riverclan being allowed to hunt on their territory. They have always seemed drawn to each other, but they both put their clans first and didn't pursue anything more than friendship. Still, feelings remained. Complicated feelings. They both deliberately take mates in their own clans to avoid the issue of their possible-more-than-friendship. They've fought with and against each other on multiple occasions, with Bearspirit even saving Swiftspirit's life more than once. The battles over the gorge for territory left both hurt and angry, and the two have done a good job at avoiding each other until their most recent chance encounter at fourtrees. They rekindle their friendship. Swiftspirit winds up pregnant. Kits will not happen until toward the end of March/early April, but signups will open early. They’ll be born in Windclan, but will be told of who their father is.
How will this impact the characters/clans involved?: Windclan will gain kits, but Swiftspirit's loyalty should be questioned. Her relationship with Timbersun will be over, and her clanmates might notice she's not very broken up about it. Riverclan could potentially gain kits if they meet their father and decide to go there instead of staying. What the kits (and Bearspirit) do when the truth is found out is up to them as individuals.
Why should this plot be approved?: it would be a fun (and natural) conclusion to a long-running relationship, and could potentially be used to further tensions between Windclan and Riverclan. Ivystar will probably be rolling in her grave at yet another of her adopted kits having an FR.
