All Time Low [Closed]

They would awake any second now right? Green eyes trailed over the two bodies that had been brought into his den with such haste. The scent of Badger clinging all over their pelts. The two warriors inside of his den were lucky to be alive.. When he first saw them, he prayed that they had gotten to Appledapple and Starlingflare in time, blood staining their fur, but as the Medicine Cat cleaned their wounds his fear lessened a little.

Every so often the two would stir in their unconscious state, moving more and more frequently. With their movements it was becoming harder to dress their wounds, so the tom did what he could to stop the bleeding for now. Once they woke up, he would continue his treatment. Green eyes drifted over their forms once again, making sure he got to everything before stopping on the gray warrior.. Why did it seem this tom had a knack for finding trouble?

Muscles tensed and untensed. Claws flexed and retracted. Breathing sped up for a moment, then calmed back down. As Appledapple lay injured in the medicine den, unconscious, it seemed that she was having a nightmare with how often her paws moved. Her facial expression contorted. Her tail lashed. Then, all of a sudden, gasping for breath, wide-eyed, she awoke.

She didn't raise her head-- that would be too painful. The large gash torn in her side and the ringing in her head from the blow kept her from moving much anymore now that she was conscious. Instead, a small groan left her mouth. The badger... what happened? Where am I? Was it all just a dream? The injured tortoiseshell's eyes moved across the area, scanning her surroundings. She was in the medicine den. Starlingflare lay close to her. Dovefrost was looking down at him, contemplating, green eyes somewhat narrowed. "What happened?" she croaked out through a dry throat, wincing from the ache in her bones.

Dovefrost's attention immediatly snapped over to Appledapple as soon as she stirred awake. Her broken voice breaking the tom a little on the inside.. They were so hurt. "We found you near the stony hollow.. Both of you badly injured with scent of Badger covering every inch of the area around you." The tom said, going to grab the water soaked moss he had prepared. Eyes looking over to Starlingflare to see the other tom had cracked his single eye open as well, but he made no moves yet.

He brought the soaked moss over to Appledapple. "Drink this first, and then we can work on your wounds." He hoped this would help settle her voice, and soothe her throat some.

Starlingflare had cracked his eye open slightly as he started to hear other's speak. The words fading into his mind slowly but surely. Badger...? Oh yeah... Badger... That is what happened before they entered... that strange dream.. with whats his face.. Flintfang.. Yeah Flintfang. He remained still in his nest. Not having the strength to sit up right now. His head was still spinning from being flung that one time.. But that dream.. It seemed so real. Was his mind just messing with him? But Appledapple was there too... His yellow eye looked over to the she-cat, trying to catch her eye. Wanting to silently tell her 'We need to talk later..'
