"You're a really good fighter!"

Bearpaw beamed at Smokepaw's compliment as she used her claws to detach some of the owl's feathers from its wings. Hearing compliments about her fighting skills only encouraged her to try harder next time. It wasn't going to be easy to carry back both meat and feathers, especially when the Thunderpath was right in her way, but it was a challenge that the she-cat decided to face.

"Thank you!" Bearpaw dipped her head slightly.
"I'll see you soon... maybe at the next Gathering." The SkyClan apprentice concluded before scooping up her share of the owl in her jaws and heading over to the edge of the Thunderpath.

Even after safely crossing and making it to the other side, Bearpaw couldn't help but give ShadowClan's territory a wistful glance over her left shoulder.
Quit moping around and go home! Ashstorm is probably looking for you, she thought, looking back ahead of her with a scowl on her face.

She was just being dramatic, that was all.
