Creampaw's Warrior Ceremony

Not having Asylum's eyes boring holes into her skull with every movement she made was a relieving feeling for Ivystar, to say the least. Though they'd been free for nearly a moon, she hadn't had the opportunity to perform a ceremony yet- but according to Shimmerdust, Creampaw was ready. She'd proven that she was capable of battling, patrolling, and providing prey for the Clan. With a nod to herself, Ivystar leaped onto the Willow Branch and yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own fish, gather beneath the Willow Branch for a Clan meeting!"

Now that the asylum was gone there was only one more thing to look forward to being a warrior any ceremony within now to the end of time could be that day hopefully it was today as she walked over and wait for the rest of the clan to arrive.

Noting that Creampaw had approached and sat down nearby, Ivystar officially began the ceremony, emerald eyes scanning the crowd slowly. "Today, we gather to celebrate the rise of a new warrior. Shimmerdust has confirmed that Creampaw is more than ready to earn her warrior name. Creampaw, if you believe this to be true, step forward now and your ceremony will begin." She mewed, settling her gaze on the she-cat.

After Ivystar had finished speaking she was exited she was becoming a warrior! So she stepped forward and waited for Ivystar to continue.

"Very well," Ivystar mewed with a quick nod of her head, tail tip twitching rhythmically. "I, Ivystar, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained for moons to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Creampaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your own life?" She meowed, emerald eyes locked on those of the she-cat below her. It was a promise every warrior's apprentice made, and a sacred one.

After IvyStar had finished speaking the phrase she had heard what seemed like 100 times before she said
“ I do”

With a nod, Ivystar bellowed out, "Then by the powers granted to me by our ancestors, I grant you your warrior name. From this day forward, you shall be known to all as Creamfrost. RiverClan honors you, and I look forward to the great things you shall do as a warrior. As tradition dictates, you will sit vigil tonight while the rest of the Clan sleeps. Until then, however, we shall celebrate the rise of a new warrior." Leaping from the branch, Ivystar approached Creamfrost with a forced smile, dipping her head respectfully and clearing the way so that others could cheer for and support RiverClan's newest warrior.
