| Shivering at the bitter cold that came with an early Leaf-bare morning, Robinloft emerged from the warrior's den, stretching out her back legs. She enjoyed waking up early, even if her body different. It made her feel productive, as if she were contributing more to the clan. In all honesty, she was. When she woke up early she often joined one of the dawn patrols, and if she slept in she would wake up late and miss it. Padding out into the clearing, she watched as her breath turned to clouds before the scanning the camp for a patrol, or someone to go on a patrol with her. Seeing that the dawn patrol was already quite large, she decided finding a cat or two to go hunting with her would be a good idea. Thrushnose was the first cat her gaze landed on, and so she walked over to the other she-cat. She didn't know much about Thrushnose besides her name, maybe she could get to know her? "Hello Thrushnose! How would you feel about going on a patrol with me?" ______________________________________ ∞ Former Windclan Leader ∞ || ☄Former Site Adminsitrator ☄ - Spoiler:

| Thrushnose had been on patrols consisting of only herself and Asylum. By now, she understood it wasn’t an ambush or a death sentence, yet, as she stared down the barrel of finding some rogue to accompany her again, she couldn’t quite bring herself to start the search. Whatever the games’ real purpose had been, they’d only succeeded in putting her more on guard. But she needed to be in motion. For ThunderClan’s sake, for her own; the reasons weren’t worth examining. Maybe she could track down Griffon. Dog pelt aside, he wasn’t as aggressive as some other cats…
Just as she’d resigned herself to that possibility, a dark-furred face popped up nearby. Thrushnose’s eyes brightened as she looked back. To be honest, she would’ve accepted even if it’d been Vixenpaw asking, but Robinloft had always struck her as the sort of cat who could carry a conversation with a pile of rocks and be smiling throughout. Someone she could afford to know better, especially now. “Robinloft,” she said, reminding herself of the name though she knew she’d gotten it right this time. “That sounds nice. Have anywhere specific in mind?” ______________________________________ Activity Notice [until 06/01]Athena [35/60]* Outsider Rogue I disadvantaged stats active | Flywhisker [40/100] RiverClan Warrior II | Emberleap [70/160] ShadowClan Warrior V |

| Delight filled her mew as Thrushnose accepted her invitation. "Ahh! Wonderful! I actually do have a place in mind. I came across this place while i was on a border patrol yesterday that smelled as if there was a lot of prey, I'm sure we'll have good luck there." She explained, green eyes sparkling with excitement as she turned away. As she neared the camp entrance she flicked her tail gesturing for the other warrior to follow. Of course, the moment she started to approach the camp entrance, a few Asylum cats began to lurk in the background. Her emerald eyes darted between them, but she ultimately ended up ignoring them. She was unsure as to why she wasn't fully used to the fact that the Asylum was here in Thunderclan, they had already been here for a moon or two.
With a shake of her head she walked though the camp entrance, looking over her shoulder to cast a small smile at Thrushnose. When she stepped away from the camp walls she was greeted with a small gust of wind, causing her to shiver. Ever since the leaves have fallen from the trees, they had stopped acting as a barrier against the wind. This meant that she felt much more wind than she did before, and she had to say she wished it was warm again, even if she loved the snow. Trying to remember where she had come across the prey-filled area, she went down the path she had gone down the day prior, keeping her nose up to smell easier. Soon her nose caught whiff of fresh prey, and she turned her head to see the small clearing that she had found yesterday. "This is it!" she exclaimed, fluffy tail raised with excitement. She was sure that they were going to have a good hunt here.
Padding into the clearing she was hit by a wall of scents, surprised at the variety, especially given that they were moons into leaf-bare. It took her a moment to decide what scent path she wanted to follow, but she soon decided on that of a squirrel. Following the scent, she tried her best to follow it, and had little luck- that was until she saw it's bushy tail dart behind a bush. A smile forming on her face, she followed the squirrel, finding it again and focusing on it. Creeping behind it, she readied herself to pounce on it. Wiggling her haunches, she pushed on her back legs, launching herself into the air, landing her paws just beside her target. The squirrel let out a small noise before darting away and out of sight, giving Robinloft no chance to do so much as get up. Letting out a sigh, she turned back around, ready to follow another scent trail. ______________________________________ ∞ Former Windclan Leader ∞ || ☄Former Site Adminsitrator ☄ - Spoiler:

| As the two of them set off, something moved at the edge of Thrushnose’s field of vision, and she paused, enthusiasm faltering. By now, she’d accepted that she would never stop feeling uneasy around Asylum. A certain amount of caution could be healthy. (Especially when she remembered Pinefrost’s pelt cold against her cheek, the marks that scarred rogue had left in her daughter’s skin—no, caution was better than what she wanted to give them.) That didn’t make it less exhausting. She held the Asylum cats’ gazes for a long, silent heartbeat, then turned and padded after Robinloft, pulling herself out of her thoughts in time to return her denmate’s smile.
The journey itself was uneventful; Thrushnose spent most of it hunching her shoulders against the frigid breeze and wondering how it would feel to have fur as long as Robinloft’s. Before long, Robinloft’s tail shot upright. Thrushnose hurried to her side, blinking in wonder. Every time she thought she’d uncovered all the secrets ThunderClan’s territory had to offer, something new popped up. “Oh.” She kept herself at a whisper, in case any prey-to-be was close enough to be startled off by her voice. From here, she could already pick up a thick mishmash of scents. “Maybe this is where everything’s been hiding.” She followed Robinloft into the clearing, her steps as careful as the snow allowed. If they were quick, quiet, and just a little bit lucky, they could catch plenty here.
Robinloft broke away first. Though there was enough space for both of them to hunt, Thrushnose chose to watch as the darker she-cat stalked her target. Robinloft’s pounce fell short. As she turned back, Thrushnose gave her a one-shouldered shrug. Nettlestar herself missed squirrels sometimes; as long as that tiny sound hadn’t alerted the rest of the clearing (judging by the silence, it hadn’t), it didn’t matter. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath full of fresh finch-scent. Not the most filling thing she could find, but prey was prey. She crept across the clearing, nose to the ground, until an odd sound stopped her in her tracks. One of the bushes nearby was…rattling at her. She’d never heard it herself, but she’d been taught what that noise meant— Thrushnose’s heart skipped a beat. The porcupine’s tail flicked out, fast as a minnow; she spun just quickly enough to ensure the spines embedded themselves in her foreleg rather than her muzzle…not that it hurt any less. Hobbling away, she managed to turn her howl of pain into a warning: “Robinloft! Porcupine!”

| The moment she heard her name ring through the air, Robinloft's ears raised, adrenaline pumping through her veins at the sound of her clanmate's call. How... How could there be a porcupine in an area that was completely clean a few days prior!? Leaving the scent trail behind, she pushed through the undergrowth until she found Thrushnose, eyes wide at the sight of a quill in her leg. She wanted to tell her how sorry she was for bringing them here- but now wasn't the time. Turning her head, her gaze rested on the creature, both amazed and horrified of it's presence. On one hand, she could finally say she fought a porcupine- and animal she had only ever learned about through training. On the other hand, they were dangerous, as it had already proven by shooting Thrusnose.
Turning her emotions into fury and determination, she jumped forward and dove beneath the porcupine, unsheathing her claws and dragging them across it's underbelly. Even a newly-named apprentice could see that a porcupine's quills are nothing to be messed with. She would much rather attack it's vulnerable underbelly where the quills ceased. After taking a few swipes at it's belly and watching as drops of crimson fell form it'snewly-formed wounds, she jumped away from the porcupine and back to Thrushnose. "Thrushnose- are you alright? Can you fight?"

| Moments after Thrushnose’s call, Robinloft came thundering into the clearing. She put the pieces together quickly, connecting the quills to the porcupine rattling furiously at the sight of a second threat—and dove under the wall of spines with no further delay. To Thrushnose’s relief, she emerged uninjured, the porcupine’s blood on her claws, and scurried back beside her. “It’s—nothing Daisybloom can’t fix,” Thrushnose said, voice tight. The second question wasn’t so easy to answer. Speed had never been one of her strengths; an injured foreleg wouldn’t do her any favors. But this was a porcupine. With Robinloft’s help especially, she could outpace it on three legs.
She looked back toward the porcupine, her tail swishing, eyes narrowed in concentration. It had turned its back to shield itself from its newest opponent…which, in a way, left it wide open. “Hold on, I’m going to try something.” With only that as a warning, Thrushnose hurried forward and around the porcupine, just out of reach as it waddled, until she could clamp down on the less-protected skin near its head and hold it in place. More quills poked at her. Fortunately, the porcupine couldn’t twist enough to sink them into her muzzle, but she closed her eyes just in case.

| A determined smile spread on her face when she saw that Thrushnose was okay enough to help fight the porcupine. Even so, the wound looked quite nasty, she could only hope she didn't get poked with one of the quills. Standing back as Thrushnose stepped forward, she uncertainly watched her clanmate, keeping herself ready to jump in case something went wrong. What she expecting was for the other she-cat to simply attack, but when she gave a quick announcement and leaped, it sparked panic in Robinloft. "Be careful!" She fought the motherly instinct to jump forward and protect, instead keeping her paws planted on the ground to see what Thrushnose would do. It wasn't as if Thrushnose was her kit or anything, but she still felt the urge to keep her safe. Her gaze followed Thrushnose as she ran toward the porcupine and latched onto it's neck, just out of reach of it's quills. After seeing what her clanmate was doing, she followed her path and called out a few words as she passed her. "Make sure you don't get jabbed."
Circling the porcupine, she soon decided what attack she would use, and immediately went in. While the porcupine was distracted with Thrushnose, she took that to her advantage and used both of her front paws to tear into the flesh on it's face. She had tried aiming for it's eyes, but she didn't succeed, instead drawing scratches on it's nose and muzzle. She quickly jumped out of it's reach- not that it could really reach her while Thrushnose had it pinned.
