Emberpaw was sitting outside the apprentice den, grooming slatepaw's fur as gingerpaw groomed his, when he noticed his brother, orangekit. Emberpaw noticed he looked bored so motioned at the she-cats to look. Maybe they could help him with his boredom.

Slatepaw sat around being groomed by Emberpaw while Gingerpaw groomed him, when Emberpaw motioned at his little brother Orangekit. She looked over at the kit before padding over to the little tom. “Hello. I’m Slatepaw what’s your name?” The calico she cat meowed.

Gingerpaw groomed Emberpaw as he groomed Slatepaw before looking over at their brother when Emberpaw motioned to him. Seeing Slatepaw go over and say hello the she cat nudged Emberpaw to followe before padding up behind Slatepaw.
