| Wrenspring had picked up the habit of attempting to leave camp as often as possible. It was less in an effort to make himself feel better, the warrior's pelt crawled with ants either way, but to bring about some form of normalcy for the young cats of the clan. It was them he was most concerned for, other than Beechface, and the missing deputy.
This particularly chilly day, the tom was leading a small patrol with Blossomstep and Ravenpaw. Being able to bring the young she-cat out, away from the over crowded camp mad him feel better. Although, regardless, he could still feel the prying eyes of Asylum cats slinking about the shadows. He shook his head to try to clear away the thought. Claws clutched the branch he had landed on and he paused for a moment to allow for the others to catch up.
Out of nowhere there came a furious honking, a much more aggressive sound than the strange manner of speech Sunflower possessed. A blurred gray figure launched forward and Wrenspring felt searing pain in his head. Instinctively, he lashed out with an unsheathed paw. For a moment, he might have considered it to be an Asylum cat who had decided to disobey orders but after a moment, he sorted out the attacker... a goose.
Goose used beaked thrust on Wrenspring, dealing 20 damage and using 40 stamina.
Wrenspring used Belly Rake on goose, dealing 15 damage and using 10 stamina.

| It was nice to get out of the camp. With the Asylum cats lurking around in the shadows, their home hardly felt like one anymore. It made Ravenpaw enraged, but there was nothing she could do about it. She was only one apprentice: a very amazing apprentice, but just one apprentice.
There was a loud, obnoxious honking, and then a goose came out of nowhere, pecking Wrenspring on the head. "Wrenspring!" she cried out, the shock quickly turning to anger as Wrenspring whapped the goose good. Before it could get its bearings, she was immediately dashing towards it, diving under its belly and clawing at its underside. She rolled over and got out before it could slam down on her.
Ravenpaw used Belly Rake on goose, dealing 7 damage and using 10 stamina.

| The air outside of camp was stifling still, but not quite as stifling as it was within camp. It was beyond unsettling knowing that these cats lurking in the shadows watched their every movement, even as they slept. As distressing and agitating as it was, she knew that they didn't stand a chance at this point. If they tried anything, they were all going to perish. She sighed as they padded through the forest, casting a side-long glance at one of the figures accompanying them. Even in their own territory they were followed relentlessly, continuously.
The silence was broken suddenly, and Blossomstep leapt into action alongside Ravenpaw. A goose pecked Wrenspring right on his skull, and Blossomstep winced in sympathy. That couldn't have felt pleasant. Darting to the same side of the goose as Ravenpaw, she held back while the apprentice darted under the belly of the creature, lashing out at the soft underside of it. Once the apprentice was out from underneath the goose, Blossomstep stepped forward, rearing back on her hind legs and bringing her front paws smashing over the head of the bird in an attempt to draw its attention.
Blossomstep used Rear-Up to Slash on Goose, dealing 13 damage and using 15 SP.

| Another furious peck, in near the same spot.
Shock was still written across his features and the blood pounded in his ears. But as his clanmates got blows in, it allowed the bicolored tom to recover just enough. He bared his teeth and darted forward, precariously balancing on the branches as he sought their feathery foe. The warrior lunged forward and wrapped his jaws around the long neck. There was the salty tang of blood and with one final honk, the creature was rendered a limp mass. Wrenspring shook out his fluffed up coat before casting a glance at the other two patrol members, "Well, this wasn't meant to be a hunting patrol but this will certainly feed a few... cats." He had to pause, remembering it wouldn't just feed his clanmates anymore. Regardless, the plump goose would feed more than a couple cats. Despite wanting to continue on, the warrior's head protested with a throb, "Let's head back."
Goose used beaked thrust on Wrenspring, dealing 20 damage and using 40 stamina.
Wrenspring used Killing Bite on goose, Goose is KO'd.

| “Alright!” Ravenpaw cheered, relishing in the defeat of the intruding goose. Of course, there was more than just celebration on her mind. First, she was worried about her mentor. She rushed over to him, inspecting the wound on his head. “We should get you back to the medicine den.” Her tone was much softer, surprisingly so for someone as grumbly and bloodthirsty as her. She just wanted to make sure her mentor was okay, that’s all. That was it. It probably wasn’t even that bad. Wrenspring surely had a thick-enough skull to keep from getting too injured. She just wanted to make sure, alright?
“Those freeloading Thunderpath rats,” she muttered under her breath, sticking close to Wrenspring and Blossomstep. “They didn’t even bother to help us kill this thing, and they’re going to get their dirty paws on it? I’d rather let it run away...” Okay, so she wouldn’t let it run away. She’d kill it for interrupting their hunting patrol, and... then maybe use it to whack those stupid Asylum cats over the head. She was getting bigger. She was sure she could do it. |

| Blossomstep nodded, picking up the goose. Ravenpaw was right, the Asylum cats hadn't raised a claw to help. Holding the goose high so it didn't drag against the ground, she turned her paws towards camp. Wrenspring needed to get his head wounds checked out, and she wanted to make sure that the elders and queens got their fair share of the large bird before any Asylum cat put a paw on it. ______________________________________ Stormypaw (♀) ||| Cinderpaw (♀) ||| Quickkit (♀)ThunderClan Apprentice ~ 20 HP / 60 SP ||| ShadowClan Apprentice ~ 20 HP / 60 SP ||| SkyClan Kit ~ 10 HP / 30 SPStarClan: Mossbloom, Dappleshine, Goldengale, Blossomstep, SunnyskipOther: Murkystar, Dewlight, AnastasiaDark Forest: None |
