Hello everyone! Mosspelt here with another Staff Announcement for you all  

As I know many of you have noticed, many members are slowing down, staff included. In the current state of the world, I think a lot of us are finding it difficult to stay caught up and on top of things. After a lot of consideration and a lengthy discussion spanning several months, we have come to a decision. These names will be familiar, as they have filled the staff role before and stepped down for their own personal reasons, and we're thrilled to have them back. It is with great pleasure that I announce that we are bringing in two more moderators. Please welcome back:


We are very excited to have them returning, and we look forward to what the team as a whole can bring to the table from here! I'm sure there will be many other announcements coming in the near future. On a similar, although sadder note, Cays is stepping down from her position on staff. I wish I had the words to speak to how much she has done for the site as a member, high rank holder, and staff, but no words can describe all she has accomplished in her time here. Please read the note below from her, and wish her the best of luck in her endeavors!

I feel like this is hardly a surprise.

Life has really made things difficult for me over the past few months. I’ve been busy, my muse for cats has been utterly dying, and I’ve been trying to focus more on my physical and mental health more than anything else. Sadly, that meant WCC fell to a lower priority. It wasn’t intentional by any means, but that doesn’t make it any better. When I realised my priorities had shifted, I stepped down as Admin and gave Oakstar his well-deserved retirement.

Now, I am giving myself mine. I don’t believe I can carry on the way I have been, and I don’t think it’s fair to all of you to keep still while everything else is moving. That being said, I love this community and will still rp a little bit from time to time. I will be making sure current characters see a proper end. Most importantly, I am stepping away from staff altogether. This isn’t a surprise to them since I did tell them I would step back when we found a replacement for the hole I was going to leave. I believe they’ve made an excellent choice. heart

This doesn’t mean I will be completely unreachable though. While I am stepping out of staff, and largely out of WCC in pursuit of my own needs and a personal project which will take me months longer to complete, I am still open to friendly conversation.

I love you all, and I look forward to watching where WCC goes in it’s future. Maybe when life slows down, I can take a more active role again, but now is not that time.
