Dawnkit’s Apprentice Ceremony

Ravenmist padded to the top of the rock, pawsteps a bit heavier than usual. She was glad for another ceremony, no doubt, but still suffering from her sister’s death. “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting.”

Dawnkit's ears perked up as she heard her mother call for the Clan to gather and she happily bounded over to settle with the rest of ShadowClan, her amber eyes alight with excitement. She was sure it was annother apprentice ceremony, many of her friends she had grown up with had left the nursery to start their training, and she hadn't seen many of them as of late. They were busy, she understood, but it made her paws itch to start her own training, to make her parent and her Clan proud. Realizing she had been lost in her thoughts she shook her head and turned her attention back to her mother, hoping she hadn't missed anything important.
